The umbrella and grass are Quickutz Silhouette cut outs. I stamped and clear embossed the dots and flowers design block on the umbrella and then rubbed worn lipstick distress ink with a foam tool (ala Jennifer McGuire and Thinking Inking). The embossing resists the ink and you get this cool look! I added stickles to the center of the designs too.
I am still loving this cloud stamp! So fun! The grass has been foam applicator-ed (new verb) with shabby shutters. I love my foam tool! I stuck flowers in the grass to liven it up and added pearls. So cute! I also added glossy accents to the owl to make him stand out more.
The sentiment is my new favorite! It is from the Hero Arts everyday sayings set that I won in the Thinking Inking class. I curved it around to look like the owl was leaving it as he went on his trip!
