Etsy Inspired Challenge #67

Welcome to Etsy Inspired challenge #67! This week’s inspiration store is Kindly Noted, and it is so cute! I was immediately inspired by this print named “Hey Chap”:And the first thing I thought of was the Torendi Modern Red kit. It has this adorable Shinzi Katoh postcard that reminds me of the characters from Kindly Noted!
I was also inspired by the “hey chap” letters, so I used these Basic Grey alpha stickers to mimic that.
The gorgeous textured red card stock is American crafts and the fun alphabet paper is Jillibean soup and both are in the Modern Red Torendi kit. So is that awesome button. I love the “tortoise shell” look. It reminds me of these dorky glasses I had in middle school ;).

I hope you will come play along with us this week at Etsy Inspired! There are two possible prizes:
– 2 free prints of the winner’s choice from Kindly Noted
– 3 free digistamps of the winner’s choice from Fairy Land DreamsHere is what you need to do to play along:
– Visit Kindly Noted and find an item that inspires you
– Create a project of your own
– Post a link to your project on this post by Friday, December 25th at noon PST.

Everything but the Kitchen Sink Challenge #5!

Hello and welcome to another Everything but the Kitchen Sink sketch challenge! This month’s challenge is based off of Winter’s oven:And here is the sketch:I decided to flip the sketch 90 degrees, because you guys know I am not good at following the rules :). Haha! I used this adorable journaling sticker from American Crafts! Isn’t it the cutest? I love that it stands on it’s own without adding journaling! I also used my loopy Martha punch for the first time. One of the sweetest girls on the planet, Lisa, bought one for me when she found it at Michael’s. Isn’t that amazing?! Love you, Lisa!
For the “dots” on the sketch, I decided to use these lady bug rub-ons that matched the journaling sticker. They are just so cute. Thanks to American Crafts for sending me the happiest, most sunshiney (not a word, I know) stuff out there! 🙂

We have a fabulous prize again this time. Here is a description from Winter:
The prize is the new book by Elizabeth Kartchner- 52 More Scrapbooking Challenges. This book
really isn’t for just scrapbookers, it really is for any crafter! I LOVE that book! She is SO talented!
Winter has me totally excited about this book now! 🙂
Please come and play along with us! Click here to go to the official blog post and Mr. Linky to post your cards. I cannot wait to see what you do!

I also wanted to congratulate the winners from last week. Everyone did such an amazing job! Thank you so much for having fun with toothpicks with us!
