Release week post
“Harvest Season” sneak peek post
AND today’s post too! ๐
Today is our showcase of “Teeny Tiny Backdrops”. This 4″ x 6″ set is a new type of set for us. It is a background creator with a little twist! These background stamps are 5.75″ long making them more than long enough to cover the front of a standard sized card! No more stamping, then stamping to the side again, anymore! When we decided to make background or as we call them “backdrop” stamps, I just knew we had to make them to cover the front of a card. These are some big stamps! ๐
The design team has some amazing samples for you, and I also have a little video on the bottom showcasing some features of the set!
Remember to click on the person’s name or card to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! ๐
Tiffany‘s layout and card are absolutely amazing, and not just because her boys are the cutest ever! I love the way she scattered different patterns from Teeny Tiny Backdrops around the layout. The color palette she chose really makes these patterns perfect for a boy, and Tiff shows how well these stamps could easily cover a 12×12 layout! Her matching card is just too fun! I love the pattern just stamped in the middle! Adorable!
Latisha‘s card is girly to the max! I love the way she covered the bottom of the card with the music notes from Teeny Tiny Backdrops and then used the larger music notes from Sophie’s Sentiments to really bring the pattern out! (Can you tell that all three of us at Lawn Fawn are musicians? ๐ ) Using Teeny Tiny Backdrops is also a perfect way to showcase those long-hoarded embellishments like this gorgeous rose!
Lynnette‘s card is so pretty! I love the way she created her own patterned paper on the top using Teeny Tiny and then combined it with the texture of dry embossing on the bottom! So perfect! Lynnette shows us that a sentiment as a focal point is sometimes the perfect thing! Especially for a thinking of you card. Her sweet flower ties everything together!
Mariana had a lot of fun with the stars of this set! She heat embossed them on a strip of paper and then combined that with other strips! This is a great way to incorporate these backdrop stamps with patterned paper that you already have (or are looking to buy! hehe!) The acetate star in the middle is just perfect! She stamped the stars in white on the acetate star for her own custom embellishment! I love it!
Danni made these amazing candy bar wrappers! You have to go to her blog to see more details! By changing the pattern from Teeny Tiny that she used and the colors and combining with other stamp sets or patterned paper she was able to make these for 3 different holidays! The great thing is that since these stamps are so long, stamping a candy bar wrapper will be a breeze and the perfect handmade treat for the upcoming Halloween and Christmas celebrations you might be going to! I know I can’t wait to try this! ๐
Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!
Now, I have a little video for you showing this set in action and how to make some quick cards! I hope you enjoy it! Watch it below or at You Tube.
I hope you have enjoyed this sneak peek of “Teeny Tiny Backdrops”. Tomorrow we have a Christmas/Holiday set that I am so excited to show you! Get ready to smile! ๐
