Happy Fall!

Happy Fall! Oh, how I wish we had Fall here. Instead we just have dreary, drizzley weather that is totally depressing. I want colorful leaves! Crisp Air! So, I decided to make some Fall cards to make up for it using Harvest Season! This card was super simple to make, and, plus, sanding that Core’dinations paper is super fun! 🙂

I paper pieced a bunch of Harvest Season pumpkins for this card. Wouldn’t it be fun if pumpkins actually came in different patterns and colors? 🙂

I really want to go to a pumpkin patch. There must be one around here somewhere! Have you guys started carving your pumpkins yet? I can’t wait! My favorite part is taking out the guts (which Mike hates), and Mike’s favorite part is the intricate carving (which I am not encouraged to do since I cut myself on stuff a lot). We’re the perfect pair! Hehe! 🙂

  4. great cards. LOVE the diff. patterned pumpkins on that second one! VERY cute and fall-ish! My pumpkin carving is pretty juvenile: two eyes and a mouth. I do the little guy's pumpkin and daddy helps the older one with something a little more on the cool side. we'll see what this year brings…

  9. Both cards are really great! I just bought my pumpkins for carving! We have three this year, one for me, my husband, and of course a little one that we'll try to make look like our dog! =) Fall is my favorite time of year!

  11. These are super cute, Kelly! I love the paper pieced pumpkins…they are my fave! Your house is the same as mine when it comes to pumpkins! I always joke with my DH and say that I am the gutter, and he is the cutter. Tee hee! ♥♥♥

  15. i hate this rain!!! it always makes me so 'blah'! ontop of that, my son was MIA for 15 minutes at school pick up! rain just brings bad luck!
