video + bliss mini album page

Hello! Today I have another Lawn Clippings video! Woo! I decided to make a mini album page using Petite Florals and the American Crafts City Park line. I had so much fun!

It is a really simple and quick page, but I love that I got to document a little story. I took the photo with my Hipstamatic app on my iPhone (I love that app so much!) I had trouble printing it on my Epson Picturemate. Anyone know how to get it to print 4×4? I put down some decorative tape and messy stitched over it. Why messing stitching? Because that’s the only stitching I know how to do! Haha!

Here is my journaling all about taking road trips with my sweet hubby!

I have a video on how to make fun Petite Florals gardens and this mini page. You can watch it here or at You Tube.

Thank you so much for watching!!!

Have an amazing day,

mini sports blog hop!

Hello! Today I am doing a really fun mini sports blog hop! We are all picking our favorite football team and making a card inspired by the logo! You should have come from Lynnette’s blog! My favorite NFL team is the Miami Dolphins. I grew up in Miami and even had a Dan Marino doll as a kid! Haha!

This my Dolphins card! I, of course, had to use the dolphin from Critters in the Sea! I created some free hand cut waves from Core’dinations paper and sanded it some. I used Hats Off To You for the sentiment, and Partly Cloudy for the clouds and sun! I love how much our sun looks like the Dolphins logo. That wasn’t even planned at all! Erica drew that, and I am pretty sure she has never seen the Dolphins logo! It must have been fate! 🙂

I used foam dimesion in a fun way on the dolphin. I put glue dots on his nose and tail and foam adhesive in the middle. He really looks like he is diving into the waves this way!

Your next stop on the blog hop is Brandi! Make sure to head on over to her blog to see all of the fun inspiration! 🙂

This is an extra little quick card that I made from a scrap and only stuff I had on my desk! I thought that would be a fun challenge! I had originally thought my card above would be standard sized but instead I made it into a 4.25″ square, and I was left with this little strip. I sprayed it with a spray mist! I couldn’t believe it because I am kind of scared of them. I did it in my sink and then smeared it around on the card. I love how soft it looks! I made the flower with fabric paper and my new favorite Sizzix 3D flower die. I love that thing! It had been sitting on my desk for a while! The swirl is from Petite Florals. Lawn Fawn sets always litter my desk top! Hehe! 🙂

I hope you all had great weekends! We are gearing up for Thanksgiving here and the new Lawn Fawn release! Posts start on Saturday the 28th for the December release! Woooo! 🙂

Make sure to head to Brandi’s blog next if you are hopping along the sports blog hop! 🙂

Here is a quick little card using Petite Florals and Just My Type, Too! I love that the sentiments from that set can work with any card! Here I stamped the flowers on my card and then overlayed paper pieced flowers with glue dots. I rolled the edges of the flowers for more dimension! I just love making flower gardens with Petite Florals!

Card stock: Neenah, Papertrey
Patterned Paper: Studio Calico, American Crafts
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (petite florals, just my type, too)
Ink: Memento
