sunshine rays, resin flowers + a video

Hello!

I have two more sneaky hints for you guys today as we lead up to our release party starting May 15th!

Any guesses for these? You guys were right on yesterday! 🙂

Today I also have a video going over all of the different ways I colored resin flowers and a start to finish fast motion card. You can watch it here or at our YouTube channel!

Thanks so much for watching!

  1. Gosh, I forgot to comment on YT how wonderful I thought your card was. I love the colours you used! Hahaha..I'm so bad at imagining. Mmm, some journaling stamps and a ribbon, bow, pinwheel, fan? Hahaha…I give up!

  2. Great job on the experiments. I have never had much luck with liquid non-resin colorants. Mine have always gotten tacky after a week or two. I have found that a tiny bit of oil paint works great.

  3. A thermometer and a pinwheel/fan? Hot summer, summer in the city themed maybe…
No wait, that might just be outside my window right now ^-^

  4. hmmm ok left one I'll guess some kind of fence sideways? tough sneak on that one! hee hee and to be different I'll guess beach umbrella on the right? others are sayin' pinwheel, but I just don't know….

  5. Love all the flowers!!
Great card!!….don't know why LOL but you didn't hear me screaming out to you to try putting that big yellow flower up in the sun! 🙂
TFS all your results with us. 🙂

  6. Sweet card. Love the colors, which remind me of vintage sheets.

And the sneeks look like journaling blocks and a pinwheel. Totally cute.

  7. I am looking forward to seeing your video later. As to the sneak peeks–pinwheel and something with a road? Or journaling like others said? Not really sure which makes it even more intriguing.

  8. Great card and inspiration!
I tried emailing you but I'm not sure that it's made it through – I wonder if you can let me know, as I can fill you in, if not!
    Thanks in advance, Ruth

  9. Love the card! So bright and cheery! Perfect for summer! I love your mix of patterned papers. As for the hints: I also think pinwheel and possibly a thermometer. Can't wait for the big reveal!

  10. I can't believe your releasing 9 sets! So fun!! I cant wait! I think I see a pinwheel and a ledger or school theme stamp. HUGS!

  11. I'm thinking a beachy theme is brewing…..with ferris wheels, sun glasses, pinwheels??? Can't wait for the big reveal!

  12. Lovely card! You're 100% right about wedding season. There are 3 in the family starting next month thru September.

My guesses … The pinwheels you blow into (blast from the past) and maybe some blinds for the other one. Could be journalling lines as mentioned by one of the above.

  13. Same as eveyone else- pinwheels! Hope so… Maybe some stitching, and a railroad track? Great card Kelly! CANNOT wait until the release!

  14. So much love in one card!!! LOVE THIS! Love how you inked the edges of the sentiment label to make it pop! Love the rays! Love the faux stitching! LOVE!

  15. I'm thinking maybe some journaling spots (would love that!) And either a cute fan or pinwheel…maybe a cute summery set…

I love the card by the way! All that teal mixed w/ the shabby papers really makes me super happy!

  16. The sneaks look like definitely some kind of journaling lines and a pinwheel. Can't wait to see!

I love all your resin flowers! Very cool. I will have to try some of those out. I'm going to do some polymer clay ones tomorrow night.

I love that sunray card! I attempted one twice and messed it up so bad. I never realized how hard they can be to make!

  17. Hello,
Well, I think it is a pinwheel or fancy fan and the one on the left is a railroad track and road lines or it could be journaling…I can't wait till May 19th!

  18. I am really enjoying your flower video Kelly. TFS
Oh this peek is so cute…Is it a wind/pin wheel and a school theme with Ledger and Ruler…
