Our big giveaway post!!

AND today’s post too! 🙂

Today is our showcase of “Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum”. This 4″ x 6″ set is perfect for the Holidays and for year-round projects, too! The design team has made the most amazing samples!  We also have a little video on the bottom showcasing some fun ways of using the set!

Remember to click on the person’s name or card to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! 🙂

Tiffany‘s ornament is so gorgeous! She has created the cutest scene with Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum! The Critters in the Forest tree’s popcorn garland is actually the steam puffs from the train! How cool is that?! Go check out Tiff’s blog for how she made this fun ornament!
Chan‘s card is so cute and shows how perfectly this set works for non-holiday cards, too! I love the idea of paper piecing the drums with colored card stock. It’s a quick color idea! Chan’s cute custom sentiment is Sally’s ABCs!
Nichol‘s tags are beyond  adorable! How sweet are those rosy cheeks on the drum?! I love how she incorporated the different sentiments and the to and from from Bows and Holly. The coloring is just gorgeous, and I love how all of the tags coordinate with each other!
Teri‘s card is so much fun! The googly eyes are a blast and the patch work background with the you rock sentiment all around is too cool! I love how she added just a few notes from the music note border in the set. Perfect!
Lynnette‘s tags are so adorable! How cute is the bow on the bear’s head?! Love it! The coloring is gorgeous, and I love the way she cut up the pa-rum-pa-pum-pum sentiment. Seriously adorable! These are great go-to tag ideas!
1st Birthday
Julie‘s card is so sweet and perfect for a little girl’s birthday! I absolutely adore the pink horse! So sweet! The patterned papers really help give it a fun vintage feel with a hint of cute which is just perfect for a sweet little girl!
Latisha‘s card is pure Christmas fun! I love the different shades of red and green with the music note border stamped in them. It looks so cool! I just love the shading on the drums and how it goes perfectly with the shades on the card! The stacked sentiment looks great, too!
Chari‘s card is so sweet! I love the idea of the bear riding the train! Too cute! Since she cut out the train pieces, using baker’s twine instead of the stamped connector piece is such a great idea! It adds great dimension! I love the candy canes hanging from the twine. Such a cute idea!
Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!

Now, I have a little video for you showing this set in action and some fun things you can do with it. I hope you enjoy it! Watch it below or at our You Tube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

  1. Love the drum and "you rock" sentiment. I whispered that to my little man yesterday – he truly does! My favourite toy was my Cabbage Patch doll, Rebecca. I still have her and I remember the Christmas I got her. My Grandfather was walking up the front stairs with a big box, I was downstairs and saw a tiny bit of the bottom of the box, apparently my Grandparents ran out of wrapping paper. I was pretty excited to know what I was getting and today it still means so much that she came from my Grandparents.

  2. Wowza, how much fun is this stamp set? So adorable! My favorite childhood toy were my Barbies. My mom built me a three tiered shelf that we painted together to make a DIY Barbie house and I just had so much fun with it. Thanks so much for all the inspiration! My mind is dancing with ideas!

  3. my favorite x-mas toy in my childhood would be getting my first cell-phone, it was unexpected 🙂 and i was soo ecstatic to get it xD

  4. I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite Christmas sets ever – absolutely LOVED the DT samples. They are all amazing!!!

I loved my stuffies, especially my little blue bear. And does anyone remember Fashion Plates? I LOVED mine – hopefully they are still at home somewhere and I remember to tell my mom not to throw them out!

Thanks for the chance to win.

  5. My favorite toy when I was younger were Barbies! I had so many of them with lots of sweet clothes. Fantastic cards!!!! It is great seeing them used for something different.

  6. love the works from the DT…

My favorite toy was a brown teddy bear which looks very much like the bear which Chari did on her card. I love to play doctor with my bear and colored blue for stomachache, red for fever, etc

  7. My favorite toy was a baby doll I got when I was maybe 5 or 6. Dressed in a pretty, lacy pink dress, she had a matching pillow, little socks and shoes and smooth blonde hair. She was my first "official" baby. After lots of love, one hair transplant and a run in with a puppy, she visited a hospital and on my 40th birthday my parents re-gifted her to me. The best kind of re-gifting; she now sits in my studio.

  8. Love this set and all the design team projects! They are all so fabulous! My favorite childhood toy that I remember vividly is my Cabbage Patch doll! Hahaha. They had the cutest faces! Thanks for a chance to win!

  9. My bright red duck with green corduroy beak and wings that my Dad placed in my cot the day I was born is still about today, hiding from my kids who also want him 🙂

  10. What a cute set! My favorite childhood toy… oh goodness! I guess it depends on the "child" age. One was a wind up Winnie the Pooh which I still have to this day, it plays a cute little song. I drug it everywhere!

  11. My favourite childhood toy was my collection of My Little Ponies. I didn't like horses at all in real life but if you gave me a pink plastic pony with a rainbow on its side I was in heaven.

  12. Also love the samples, particularly Latisha's with the music notes. That's given me some inspiration for my Christmas cards! Better start on those soon I guess!

  13. My favorite childhood "toy" is my teddy bear. It was my "first" stuffed animal (with an awesomely original name…"Teddy") that I still have today (he lives in the top of my closet now, it freaked dh to have him sitting on top of the bed after we were married). Anyways he is 36 years old and looks a bit rough as I used to carry him everywhere, but he still has his eyes and scars from many repair surgerys. (And if I needed him, he'd be right there for me LOL!

  14. What an adorable little drummer guy! And absolutely love Julie's card! I forget the name of it, but my favorite toy was the Barbie head that you did hair and makeup on. I wore two of them out!

  15. Fabulous creations! My favorite toy was a doll (I think her name was Christie?) She had hair that would "grow" when you pushed a button in her back, then you could shorten it by turning her "belly button knob"! LOL! Thanks for the chance!

  16. This set is soooo sweet – just like all your other sets. Great projects today. Hmmm – favorite toy growing up – I don't think I can remember that far back. I loved to read and remember getting some Nancy Drew books – and loving those. Special outfits for my Barbie and board games were always fun too.

  17. WOW! Girls, these are all equally amazing! I love every single project SO much!!!!

My fave childhood toy…hmmm… it's probably a toss up between my skating doll 😉 and the smirfette that my mom crocheted for me & all of my cousins! I really wish I still had smurfette – I have no clue where she went :(.

  18. Another adorable set! I've been sitting here trying to pick my favorite toy and I couldn't think of just one, I had several and I sure have enjoyed the stroll down memory lane thinking about them. Thank you.

  19. Love the inspiration – what great possibilities for this set!!
My fave toy was a stuffed koala. Called Koala. I made up a lot of adventures for him, including escaping from the Russian circus and coming to live with me!! Ha!
he was a very good gymnast (apparently).
Thanks for the chance to win, Rx

  20. Just when I thought the projects couldn't get any cuter……they are all so creative!!

I loved playing with paper dolls! Cutting them out and then dressing them would occupy me for hours!

  21. oh my goodness, the DT is just unbelieveable! i love all of the projects! super fab! my favorite childhood toy was a blue stuffed animal bear, that i slept with every night. i even took him to college with me, and now i still have him!

  22. Adorable stamps!! My fave was Bozo, my big brown stuffed dog. He was my friend and went with me everywhere!! He even ended up with white paint on his tail from an accidental brush by the wet paint on the garage, oops!

  23. i was so excited by the dt's projects that i forgot to mention my favorite childhood toy! lol it was a stuffed toy…Snoopy! i went thru a snoopy phase…i had a snoopy hat, sweatshirt, shoes, socks…i was all about snoopy. 🙂

  24. My favorite toy was one of my My Little Ponies. I had quite a collection, but this particular one had a layer of pink fuzz and bright yellow hair, and for some reason I just loved it and carried it everywhere with me!

  25. My favorite childhood toy is a baby girl which I love it very much even it was broken. I cannot remember when I discarded her but till today, I still remember I had her during my childhood.

  26. Love your enthusiasm on the video Kelly Marie. It is obvious what a thrill it is to introduce this new stamp set. It is awfully cute! It was wonderful to see what your DT members created with them. I was so glad that you posted their work here, as I was unable to view Nichol, Latisha and Lea's projects on their sites. Also, I can't find a spot to leave a comment on Chan's site.
In answer to your question about a favourite Christmas toy … I was given a stuffed bunny rabbit in a little yellow dress when I was a small child and still have her today (at least 50 years later)!

  27. My favorite toy hands down is my teddy bear. It was the very first toy I ever received AND it was given to me by my favorite uncle!

  28. Super cute projects! Gets me excited about Christmas! I have to say my favorite toy was the Lite Bright! I would create something, turn off the lights, then watch the magic!

    Jenny x

  39. I had better get to work because I am making some of those ornaments for Christmas presents-they are gorgeous!I was a terrible tomboy so my favorite present-vintage age showing up here-my Roy Roger's gun and holster. You may commence laughing now!

  40. My favorite toy when I was a kid was a doll that my Grandmother had made me. The only one that topped it was a turtle, that she also made, that was at her house. Love the ideas!

  41. Oh this is my fav. Christmas song too!! I have this bear my grandma gave me when I was 4, she has past on but I still have it to remember her by (my son, almost 13, is scared of it and I always find my bear at the top of the closet with the door shut)Sometimes I tuck the bear in his bed so when he pulls off the covers it is right there! LOL!

  42. Thank you for the chance to win! My favorite childhood toy was an EasyBake Oven. I use to make all sorts of odds and ends in that oven. It really did work too. Have a great week.

  43. I just LOVE it when stamps are used in a new way, like with the popcorn-string. Gorgeous!!
My fave childhood toy was a doll named Skrållan. I remember my mom knitted a fab wardrobe for her, with the cutest knitted shoes 🙂 We even had matching dresses, Skrållan and I.

  44. My favorite toys were probably my coloring things. A plastic bin of stencils and crayons and a binder of blank paper. I'd spend hours with those!

  47. I think you guys rock!!!..I love all your stamp set…my favorite toy was my cabbage patch doll… I'm trying to be tight with spending but I think I might have to break down and buy some new stamp sets..:)

  48. What lovely samples from the team. I was born in the UK at the end of the second world war so toys were hard to come by. My favourite was a knitted penguin which I christened Peggy & took to bed every night (until I went to university!)

  49. The DT is amazing me with their creative cards! My favorite toy was a huge stuffed dog my grandparents got me back in the early 60's long before huge stuffed animals were cheap and plentiful.

  50. My favorite memory is ice skating in our front yard when it was completely iced over!!!! Cold, but fun!!! Thanks for a chance to win.

  51. Oh wow! I love what the DT's created! My favorite toy was a walking, talking doll. You had to load little LP's (playing disks) in her back and each carried various songs and sayings!

  55. I love the versatility of this set. And the cuteness also! When I watched the video at one point the middle car of that train started to look at me… like a cartoony face, just the eyes and some kind of head with a star. That was very strange, but what a cute idea wouid that be, to create a doll out of a train car!

My favorite toy was a cute sitting stuffed mouse with a white skirt. I was 7 and bought it all by myself with my own money… I was so proud!

  56. My fav. toy was a little teddy bear, just like the stamp in this stamp set, and i believe i slept with her, took her to everywhere til.. 4th? grade… this set is sooo cute, and versatile. 57. Great projects using this new stamp set! TFS 😉
My favourite toy was a very small doll (about 3" high). My sister and I made clothes for these dolls using scrap material, buttons and snaps. So much more fun for us than store-bought doll clothes. 😉

  58. My favourite toy as a child was my stuffed Snoopy. It had a zipper compartment to hold my pj's in, as well as being a stuffed animal. I literally loved that thing to death. It got so many holes, it was unrepairable 🙁

  59. This set is amazing – there is so much in it. My favourite toy is Teddy, I still have him in a cupboard even if the sawdust stuffing is coming out from under his arm – the result of too many hugs!

  69. My favorite toys were my paper dolls, my toy cars that I would have them drive around on my comforter in between seams (streets in my imagination), my Legos (loved building things) and my Barbies as I would make up whole grand soap operas involving them all. My sister and I only had one Ken so he was quite a popular guy. 🙂 I love this set and the design team made amazingly awesome projects! Thanks for the chance to win.

  70. Oh,I just Love everyone's Creations. I would have to say my favorite Toy growing up was my Crissy Doll. I still have her and now my little four year old Grand Daughter plays with her.
