Want your project to be in the Lawn Fawn booth and catalog? Lawn Fawn CHA Winter 2013 Challenge!

*Feel free to ask us questions in the comments below. We will answer them there!*

We seriously love you guys! We could not do this without you! It would be an honor to include some of your projects in our catalog and booth at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) trade show this January, so we are holding a little challenge here on the blog!
In addition to have your project featured in our catalog and booth, the 3 winners (one for each category below) will each get a $75 gift certificate to be used on Lawn Fawn goodies! Woohoo!

Now, because it is for our catalog, we do have a couple of guidelines:

  1. We are looking for projects using any one of these stamp set categories:
    1. Any Critters sets and/or Hats Off to YouYou may use any combination of these sets. (For example a card using just Critters in the Forest works or a card using Critters in the ‘Burbs, Critters in the Sea and Hats Off to You works, too!)
    2. Sunny Skies (please only use this set)
    3. Any ABCs set (Please make the ABCs set the main feature of the card, but you may use other Lawn Fawn stamps.)
  2. You may not use patterned paper. Eeks! I know! This is tough but a fun challenge! You may still use any colored card stock or paper, ribbon, buttons, markers, pencils, etc. If you have any questions. Let us know! (The reason is that we are coming out with new patterned paper for the CHA trade show that will be featured in the catalog, but it won’t be out there for you guys to use yet. 🙂 )
  3. You may not use any other company’s stamps on your projects. We don’t want to confuse anyone! 🙂
  4. If your project is chosen, you must provide us with a high resolution photo of your card right away, and then you will need to mail us the project so that we can show it off in our booth!
  5. You may enter as many times as you would like!
  6. You have until December 6th at 10:00pm EST to enter. We will announce the winner December 7th.

We are just so excited about this! It will be so wonderful to have your amazing projects for people to ooh and aah over at CHA! SO fun! Please let us know if you have any questions!

  1. Hi 🙂 I have a question, Do the cards have to be any particular theme? Or can they be anything like Christmas, birthday, valentines thanks?
    Thanks.
    Kate xx

  2. Hi! when you say no patterned paper, is it just for layering or we cant also use it for paper piecing? even if we use LF paper? Thanks! very excited to start making cards! 🙂

    1. No patterned paper at all. The reason is that we are coming out with new patterned paper that will be featured in the catalog, but it won't be out there for you guys to use yet. It is a tough challenge, but we know you guys can do it! 🙂 We can't wait to see what you create! Let us know if you have any other questions!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. I have a question too =) Can we use an ABC set to make a custom sentiment for our critter card? And also, can we use a sentiment from one critter set together with a critter from a different critter set?

    1. Yes, you may use an ABCs set for a custom sentiment for the Critters, and you may use a sentiment from one Critter set with a critter from a different set! 🙂 Any Critters set combination is good! 🙂 We can't wait to see what you create!

  4. Oh, and also – how fast must the project get to your offices after you have made the winner announcement? Aka, will us international LF lovers have enough time to ship it to you via regular mail, should any of us win?

    1. Yes, you will definitely have enough time. We worked it out to make sure that our international friends could participate! It is also the reason why we will need a high resolution photo so that if the package was delayed we could always use your photo in the catalog. Can't wait to see what you make! 🙂

  5. If we submit multiple entries for each category, do we link each entry one at a time, or do i make a blog post for all cards in that category and link per category, or do i make a blog post for all cards for all categories and add all cards in one link? I'm sorry for the very confusing question, I don't know how else to phrase it. 🙂

  6. Fun challenge, Kelly Marie! I made a card featuring Quinn's ABCs that I really liked last year, but it had a small amount of pp on it. So I made a new card that is similar, but changed the pp for green cardstock. It is linked above. Hope I have time to make something else. Thanks.

  7. I added 5 mini's tonight, and all 5 are using 2 stamp sets, one o which is not in the specs as a usable stamp set for this contest. I did use the Smitty's ABC stamp set, too, so I thought I'd still enter them. Now, back to the drawing board for some more fun!

    1. They are awesome and very cute! Too bad Sweet Christmas isn't a part of it. Maybe we can throw that one in for our next contest in July when we release our Christmas products! 🙂
