We absolutely love the Lawnscaping girls. They helped us make beautiful card samples again that we included with orders to our retailers, and we are so thankful! I wanted to make sure we could share their lovely work here, and today we have a wicked awesome card by Jenn! (I had to throw that ‘wicked’ in for you again, Jenn!) She used watercolor pencils on the Blue Skies balloons. I love that gorgeous color! She used the Blue Skies Lawn Cuts dies to cut out some clouds from felt and created some “letter fetti” using Smitty’s ABCs! So clever! The “for inspiring me” is from A Good Apple. I love that this set can be used for non-teacher projects, too!

I love the colors, especially the sentiment strip. How did Jenn do that?
so happy you enjoyed the card! I scribbled out the different watercolor pencils i used on the balloons, then added water. then i cut the pennant. the "thank you" part i just stamped out the letters and then cut into strips. You have inspired me to do a quick blog post tonight with a picture tutorial of how i did this part. stay tuned 🙂
