Chari‘s card using Happy Hanukkah is so gorgeous! I love how great the images in this set look heat embossed!

Melissa Stinson‘s layout is so awesome! She used both the Peace Joy Love papers and stamp set. She cut her title using Cole’s ABCs and felt! This is such a cool idea for a layout title! A little Flair is the perfect finishing touch!

Chrissie_TrimTree
Chrissie‘s Trim the Tree card is too cute! I love her beautiful coloring, and the way she used that striped Peace Joy Love paper on the side. She used embossing paste for that awesome texture and added some sequins to finish it off!

Melissa Shea‘s card and gift card set is too cute! She used the Peace Joy Love collection. I love how great the tags from the papers look on cards! I also love the idea of putting Flair at the top of a tag! So cute!

Nette 2013-10-20 016
Lynnette‘s Winter in the Park scene is so pretty! I love the glittered snow and those cute little flags she made from the Peace Joy Love papers! I love the idea of using sequins falling along with the stamped snowflakes!

Kim J C&SHoliday_Nov2013_KJ
Kim came up with the coolest idea! She used the Trim the Tree dies without the stamp to create an easy-to-reproduce Christmas card! She also used the tag die to create that flagged banner by just layering two tags end to end!

We also have a video for this fun woodland-themed holiday card we posted last week for you today!
You can watch the video below or at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

  1. All the projects are truly wonderful! My favorite winter activity is watching Christmas movies. I live in Michigan but I hate the cold so I stay indoors lol. As soon as it snows for the first time (which it did last night) the Christmas movies start! 🙂

  2. My favorite winter activity is drinking hot apple cider. Can't make snowmen since I live in Alabama and rarely get any snow. Love all the projects. Thanks for the chance to win.

  3. I love these! Especially Melissa's layout! 🙂
We don't get much (if at all) snow here in Texas, so my favorite winter activity is going for a bike ride & then coming in to drink hot tea.

  4. Love all the inspiration this week! My favorite thing to do for the season, is driving around and looking at all the beautiful X-Mas/Winter decorations people have placed on their homes and lawns!

  5. The Into The Woods stamp set is so cute and I love the cards with the little deer from that set. Thanks for all the inspiration. My favorite winter activity…lazy afternoons, sitting in my favorite chair, in front of the fireplace reading a book!

  6. Thanks for the inspiration! I especially love your cute Into the Woods card! My favorite winter activity is walking right after a snow fall — everything looks so serene!

  7. Again wonderful cards! I like the little deer alot.
My favorite winter activity is walking in the snow (if there is snow) and walking in the woods. When I was younger we had a dog and walking in the snow with him was fun. And when we got home snuggle up on the bench wit hot chocolate.

    Have a nice day,
    Nanda

  8. my favorite winter activity is (you may not believe this) making cards by the fire with a cup of tea. While watching the snow outside I get so many ideas for cards – and I have lots of time because there is no gardening to do ! Your card with the hidden deer is a great one!

  10. I love having some hot cocoa with the kids, it is nice to sit and chat for a while or watch a Christmas movie together. Love creating memories with the kids!

  11. Great inspiration! My favorite activity is making a snowman. Not always the easiest thing to do in the south, some years we might only get one up about a foot high.

  12. these are fabulous inspiration pieces.. I love seeing the Hanukkah card! I don't see a lot of those around so it's refreshing! My favorite winter activity is taking my 4 yr old tobogganing! Oh how he loves it..he can stay out for hours just going up and down the hills…nothing like the sound of a child enjoying himself in play 🙂

  13. Seeing these projects is making me giddy for Christmas. I can't believe that it's right around the corner! My favorite winter activity is going up to the mountains to go snowshoeing. Being from Seattle, we don't get too much snow during the winter….although there have been occasions. We have gorgeous mountains surrounding us and it only takes about 45 minutes to see snow. 🙂

  14. I am so excited about the video. I just LOVE that card!!! I love to go to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn to see a neighborhood with professionally decorated Christmas landscapes. The homes are are lit up and decorated. It is awesome.

  15. I just adore the card you created Kelly :)!
It is gorgeous! I love the little scarf on the oh so cute deer!

I love taking walks with my family through the woods when it's super cold and freezing and everything is covered in snow – ah love!
And decorating the home – if that counts 😉

  16. What beautiful projects. Thank you all for sharing. I am in love with Peace, Love, Joy and have been making some of my Christmas cards with it. I love winter – I love having a fire in our fireplace, coming in from outside and having cocoa. We haven't had much snow at our house by the water the last few years, but within a half hour I can be at Mt. Baker and in the snow.

  17. What wonderful inspiration you've shared! Beautiful products and the paper…swoon! Living in Alberta, we have nearly 7 months of winter (so it seems!), so my 'honest' favourite activity is staying cosied up inside, making cards and baking cookies. Outside, it's cross-country skiing. I'm just a beginner, but it's so. much. fun! Thanks for asking and offering us a great win opportunity!

  18. I just LOVE this card! I was blown away when I saw it last week, too adorable! 🙂 My fave winter activity would be making snowmen with my two kids and coming inside for hot cocoa! 🙂

  19. I really enjoyed the video and the idea of having the critters peek out from behind the trees! So cute! My favorite winter activity is also making snow angels, sorry not trying to copy you, I just enjoy them too! I made one last year after the hurricane when we had the snowstorm! It was one of the few happy memories I have of that time. . . Lol.

  20. wow-what great cards! I've never thought of using embossing paste on a card, even though I use it on most of my layouts! And the card with the trees and deer is just adorable…I may have to "borrow" that design! thanks for the inspiration 🙂

  21. Here in AZ we don't have much of a winter. Winter to us is when the temp drops below 60 degrees, then we're all freezing. The best thing to do is fire up the firepit out back and have a warm cup of chocolate or coffee and just maybe a little something extra in it. *wink* *wink*.

  22. My favorite holiday activity is Christmas Eve with the family. Love to have all the kids at home gathered around the tree and opening gifts! What could be better.

  23. My favorite activity is shopping & then wrapping presents!! Nothing outside for me, thanks! LOL. 'Cept now that I have a 6 year old, she drags me outdoors, and then I sometimes end up loving it 🙂

  24. Yay! When you posted the card, I asked if you would do a video on it. Thank you so much! I love that card and can't wait to make one now. My fave Winter time activity is being in my nice warm studio, working on my Lawn Fawn cards and projects and watching it snow. So soothing and relaxing and unstressing!!!!

  25. Thanks for the fun projects today, but the last card is simply adorable!! My favorite winter activity is staying inside where it's warm!! 🙂

  26. Beautiful work everyone! TFS.
My favorite winter activity is going outside at night when it is snowing and taking pictures with the flash on.
I love seeing what magical images I can catch.
    Crafty hugs,
    D~

  27. Gorgeous cards for wintertime! Since we don't get a lot of snow down south, we have to travel to wintry places -my family's fave winter activity would have to be skiing…and in my case, the cup of hot cocoa afterward is high on the list too. 😉

  28. Hmmm. My favorite winter activity is snuggling up by the fire and watching chick flicks with my family. 😀 None of that nasty cold outdoor stuff for me. LOL Hey, I live in Michigan and I work at a school. Get my students of the buses is enough cold for me. 😀 Thanks for a chance to win.

  29. I love that christmas card with the pink glittered snow. It kind of puts a less traditional spin on Christmas…and snow. My favorite winter activity is playing in the snow and making hot chocolate. I think that playing in the snow might just be an excuse for me to make hot chocolate, though. Haha. Happy crafting!

  30. When I was little and growing up in the midwest I loved to ice skate. Now living in Florida my favorite winter activity is watching hockey….go Blackhawks!

  31. Hmm, Winter Activity….No snow in Florida so
winter makes me want to bake especially
Yummy cookies, but when that urge passes
I like to make cards. Big Whoop Huh??
    Thanks for the inspiration daily!

  32. I adore sitting by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the lights on our tree. Sometimes it's fun to just sit and enjoy and other times it's fun to include a good book, but it's always peaceful.

  33. I love going to the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo. And hot cocoa with whipped cream on a cold night.
Great cards and layouts and I love the card on the video!

  34. Thank you for all the great inspiring projects! I LOVE the card on the video! My favorite winter activity is going to the cinema and having warm fresh butter pop corn! Of course when it snows I love playing out with the snow but this doesn't happen often here in Athens, Greece…!

  35. Wonderful projects and so fun. Love going for a walk in the snow at night under a clear sky with the moon and stars shining.

  36. The DT is so talented!!!! Loving all the inspiration coming at us this week. My favorite outside snow activity would probably be building a snowman – but to be honest I would much rather be inside snuggled up in a blanket, having a warm cuppa and reading a book or watching a movie with my loved ones!!!

  37. Such wonderful inspiration from the design team – wow! My favorite holiday activity is going downtown to the Lincoln Park Zoo (Chicago) to the Holiday Lights show; the kids just LOVE it every time! P.S. I received my wonderful package from Lawn Fawn yesterday with all the goodies in it that I ordered – you're so wonderful with your adorable packaging, and the little goodies you sneak in it, too. thank you soooo much! And I always love the hand written sentiment from Mike, too!

  38. Cute projects- I love the simplicity of some of them. I'm about to start our Christmas cards and I'm looking for simple this year. As for Christmas, we like driving around one evening in Dec. and looking at all of the lights and decorations on peoples' houses.

  39. Oh super cute! I love that little deer peeking out of the trees.
Umm, fav winter activity…. I guess it would be all the time spent snuggling with my kids under blankets staying warm and playing card games to pass the cold evenings.

  40. So cute…. Love todays projects. I always loved going out and making a snowman. But here in TN it is harder to do. If we get snow it is like dust so you really have to work at it. or it is frozen so we go sledding. I love watching my kids play in the snow. The joy on their faces is priceless.

  41. Beautiful projects and I just LOVE that cute little deer with the felt scarf peeking out from the trees! One of my favorite winter activities is going for a drive at night with the kids to look at all the Christmas lights with goodies to enjoy and Christmas songs playing.

  42. Love the Snowy Bench on Lynnette's card. Not much of a cold weather fan, so my favorite activity is sipping a warm beverage and looking out the window after a freshly fallen snow.

  43. We get alot of rain in Blenheim, New Zealand in winter, so my favourite thing is to get myself and my two children into our gumboots and raincoats and go puddle jumping! My children are 7yrs and 8yrs old and still love this activity as much as when they were 2yrs old. And to be honest, I still love it too in my 40's!! Am loving this inspiration week by the way, lots of brilliant ideas.

  44. lovely cards! I live in Nebraska and winters here are tough….so my favorite winter activity is vacation planning! 😉 I love to dream of a trip somewhere warm….especially a trip like a cruise!

  45. Super cute projects! You know Happy Hanukkah was the very first Lawn Fawn set I owned! Smitty's ABC's was the 2nd one! 🙂 Anyway, my favorite winter activity is making hot chocolate, and watching Peanuts cartoons! 🙂

  46. Awesome creations. My favourite winter activity is to bake in our woodfired oven, it just cooks things wonderfully – but the rest of the year its just too hot to use it.

  47. i love that y'all include some scrapbook layouts w/the cards! very inspiring. my fav winter activity is going to the tree lighting in town the weekend of Thanksgiving. Santa is there, tons of trees light up & it's just good clean family fun!

  48. The best thing about winter is getting in from the cold, and to sit snuggling on the sofa with a hot drink, heavenly, lovely inspiration yet again

  49. One of our favorite winter activities is all gathering in the car during December and driving around to look at Christmas lights with jammies on, hot chocolates in hand and Christmas music on the radio.

  50. Ohhh I love all the red and blue! Favorite winter activity? Um, does sitting watching old movies count? That's my favorite, or reading a book. Sometimes I get really active and do both at the same time!

  51. I love the simplicity of Melissa's card. Very inspiring!

My favorite winter activity is having a cup of hot chocolate after being out in the cold. There's something so warm and comforting about hot chocolate, and it feels like it warms me to my very core.

  52. LOVE that Happy Hannukah card… I'm always looking for inspiration to make them and this is one's great! I'm swoon by your card, Kelly Marie!!! That card is utterly GORGEOUS, adorable and just brilliantly creative!!! I'm in love with it!!!

My favorite winter activity is staying in during a snowy day to drink hot chocolate, watch chick flicks and craft!!! *smitten*
