Hello and welcome to the first post of Lawn Fawn’s April inspiration week! We are just so excited about this week! We are featuring fun stamps and dies, and we will have fun posts and giveaways and lots of inspiration!

Today is our showcase of Critters from the Past and its coordinating dies. This set is the next installment in our Critters series! The design team has made the most amazing samples!  We also have a little video on the bottom showcasing some fun ways of using these sets!

Yainea‘s scene is so much fun! I love the dots she added to the dinos! The sentiment from Birthday Tags is perfect!

I love how Nichol combined sentiments from So Much to Say and Critters on The Savanna with the new Speech Bubble Border die!

Chari‘s paper piecing is so much fun! I love how she made a ground for the dino with the Stitched Scalloped Border die!

Elena made balloons out of the egg in the Critters from the Past stamp set. This is such a clever idea!

Latisha‘s tag is so cute! I love how she layered the two tags and how the dino is stamped within the tag from Birthday Tags!

I love how Kim created a background with the flower stamps in the set. Paper piecing is a great way to add color to the dinos!

Elena‘s card is so fun! I love how she made a large sentiment with Quinn’s Capital ABCs. So cool!

And then, I love seeing Nichol‘s more traditional coloring of the dinos. Both ways look fantastic! 🙂

  1. These critters from the past are sooo adorable! I keep putting off buying them since my four boys are teenagers and older now…but hey….grandkids will hopefully be here one day and then they'll be perfect!

    What makes me happy today? Sun is out and I am going to have lunch with a good friend of mine. That makes me happy! ^_^

    On a more personal note, I'm HAPPY because the sun was shining today, the clouds cleared, no raindrops fell, both loads of washing dried out on the clothesline and everything is now folded and put away 🙂

  8. This stamp set is just adorable. I love all the DTs cute creations. I'm happy because is drizzled rain all day and therefore it was a great excuse to hunker down in my craftroom.

    1. I got so excited over the cute dinosaurs I forgot to put what made me happy, what made me happy was celebrating my son's birthday all weekend long with my family and best friend since it's not often we get together. It was awesome!

    1. Getting caught up on finishing the kits I made for my Stampin' Night ladies. The kits I don't use I finish for myself and then sell at vendor faires. It's going to storm so I can stay in and work on finishing the kits.

  38. Your company is just awesome. It is so nice to be walked through a stamp set and given ideas for each image. I have some stamp sets with parts I have no idea what they are for!!! Very cute card, the two levels of grass are adorable. Thanks and can't wait until tomorrow.

  113. Wow, each and everyone of these cards and tag are all just AWESOME!!! If I hadn't watched your video and seen just how many ways you could use they dinomite stamps I would not have ever thought that I need to buy them. Well, that idea is over now! I soooooo want this set now!!! They are so cute and I just love how they can be so simple to color and get such a good effect with just my Copic colorless blender. I think this set rocks. Ok, now for something that made me very happy today, well first off my two teenagers went for a long walk with me and their Dad without any complaining about how far or how long we were going to walk. :O) Yep! I know you only asked for one, but this one is related to my love of card making and that would be that my Hello Die and 'Happy Trails' from LF came in the mail from Jammies etsy store yesterday and I just finished making a hello card after our wonderful walk.   119. Adorable dinos! Love all the projects. Today my daughter and I went to a wedding cake tasting. It was fun and fattening I'm sure. LOL! But we now have her cake ordered.

  175. This is such a fun stamp set!! I love all of the creations! What made me happy was the 2 miles I put in at the gym. I only get 1/2 hour a day and am glad I'm finally getting to 2 miles in that time (I know I'm slow – but improving!!)

  231. Love this dinosaur set. There is not a huge amount of Lawn Fawn in Australia. I have got some from one shop but a lot are currently sold out. So I am looking and making my wish list a lot longer. Soooo want the dinosaurs!
