Lawn Fawn + Perfect Paper Crafting Week Day 1

This week we are teaming up with our friends over at Perfect Paper Crafting! They have really cool tools including the Perfect Layers Rulers! We will be bringing you a fun week of projects, so make sure to head on over to their blog, too. We will also have a giveaway at the end of our week. We will choose our winners from comments on our blog throughout the week!

Kristin, who is part of our team here at LFHQ, created this super fun Halloween card using the Perfect Tears tool to create that awesome “goo” at the top of the card. I love this creative idea! It’s perfect for Monster Mash! I love her Distress Inking. She created the coolest sky. Thanks, Kristin!
I used the Perfect Layers Rulers to create a 1/16″ mat around my Stitched Rectangle piece. I wanted to create a super simple card with Spooktacular, and I originally just had the white and orange layers. It looked a bit plain, so ruler was perfect for adding just a little extra pop of black!

Don’t forget to head on over to the Perfect Paper Crafting blog. They might just have a giveaway going on, too!  They also have a coupon code for us, too! Use lawn5% on the Perfect Paper Crafting site for 5% off!
Here is a list of their design team, too!

  1. Kristin's card is SERIOUSLY CREEPY, LOVE the SPOOKY sky, AWESOME inking and SUPER CUTE monsters 🙂
Your card is BOO-tiful too Kelly Marie, LOVE the shadow under your SUPER CUTE pumpkin, LOVE the fonts of your SPOOKTACULAR sentiment and WOW, the black layer really makes it all POP!!!
THANK YOU both for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION!!!

  2. Super swooky cards (sweet/spooky)!! Anyway – I am horrible at aligning my layers and have tried tools/rulers in the past that have been complicated to use, I will have to look into these – to see if they are easy enough for me.

  3. Two great groups to partner with. Love the Perfect Rulers and my FAVE Lawn Fawn.
Love the 'GOO' border and the layering is fabulous!
So very nicely done and thanks for sharing with us!

  4. I can't wait to make some slime when I get to order the monster mash set! I also like icky, sticky spider webs dipped in eyeball juice! Boo! he! he!

  5. I've seen these rulers used before and I think they would be the perfect addition to any paper crafter's tool box. Thanks for the inspiration and another chance to win!

  6. Cute cards! LOVE Perfect Layers rulers and they are #1 on my wish list right now!! The new Lawn Fawn release is a must have also…have a few already and am getting ready for more. Thank you for the chance to win!

  7. What a great card! I had never heard of this tool until today, but boy do I need it. I can never create mats or borders because I can never get them cut straight or measured right. This seems like the answer to a dream. And teamed with LF, my favorite stamps, dies and embellies of all time?! What could be better!

  8. I just love those little monsters! These matting tools sound great too, I can't cut straight and often need to mat something that doesn't fit a die that I have and the tools would really help.

  9. Love those little monsters, they are just to cute to be really spooky. would really love to be able to buy these but at the moment am broke. Those matting squares etc sound like a great idea too and could really use them to help me out with my card making. Thanks for sharing and for the opportunity of winning!!!!

  10. I also really appreciate you mixing in some "simple" cards. As a new paper crafter I need to start simple and it helps me not feel so overwhelmed. I also love that I can use the simple pumpkin to work on my shading that I am leaning in our OCC copics class!

  11. The second card is so clean and simple and very cute. The first card is great. Love the shading of the colors. the green dripping down from the top is wonderful.
    Love this card.
    thanks for sharing.

  12. Fun cards! I love the way the Perfect Tears tool made the "goo" border on Kristin's awesome card! Great background too! And the thin lack border around the pumpkin layer makes the card look so finished! Awesome!
