Nicole created super cute Goodie Bags using Toboggan Together and Let’s Bokeh in the Snow paper! I love how festive they look; they would be perfect under the tree filled with gifts or used as decorations!

I love Karin‘s beautiful kraft Tag, You’re It tag! Her awesome coloring of the Snow Day images is just perfect!

Kate blended old and new on this gorgeous card! The birds are from Bannerific and they look lovely with Scripty Joy and Mini Snowflakes! I love the beautiful ombre look of the background!

Jessica‘s cards are perfect for anyone who loves a fun and punny play on words!  I love how she used  Love You a Latke with Winter Alpaca and Finley’s ABCs to create her light-hearted designs!

How gorgeous is Kim‘s Ready Set Snow shaker card?! I love the beautiful snow globe scene she created with Winter in the Park and the birds from Chit Chat! So clever!

Yainea‘s Merry Christmouse card is too cute! The stockings hanging on Peppermint cord are too fun! I love the beautiful “chalkboard” background stamped with our retired set, Ornate Ornaments using Yeti ink!

Nancy‘s cheerful card features Snowy Backdrops white embossed on kraft cardstock and a decorated Stitched Circle Tag!

I love how Samantha C. created an adorable scene with Winter Alpaca and Toboggan Together! These sets go together so well and look great with Merry Christmas Border, Forest Border and Mini Snowflakes!

I love Ivy‘s card; it’s all sorts of happy! The beautiful watercolor background, sparkly trees and the adorable Yeti all add up to a festive design!

  1. I love Nicole's cards (youtube) and those gift bags by Nicole 😀
I love to skate and play hockey. But this year my toddler is just about to take his first steps, so hopefully we'll have plenty of snow to play in and learn to make snow angels and snow men 🙂

  2. SUPER CUTE, FUN, FABULOUS and BEAUTIFUL holiday creations!!!
I'm INSPIRED by ALL the designs!!! I confess that I'm EXCITED to see Nichol's lovely layers and tutorial, I really appreciate her video sharing her RECIPE FOR AWESOMENESS 🙂
Even though we get some heavy frosts, we don't get any winter snow. I do love to go down to the beach, watch the stormy surf & skies and the everchanging shoreline. I think I take more photos of the wintery waters than I do in the summer too.

  3. What a great showcasing of Holiday cards! So inspirational and fun! Love them all! And that video is awesome!
There is no snow where I live! So I always enjoyed to make winter, Holiday and Christmas cards, or i visited to love any Hill station to enjoy the snow fall.

  4. Since I live in Florida and we all know there's not much cold weather here, a nice Christmas movie and some hot cocoa makes my winter in Florida. Might not be freezing here but it's definitely cold for us.

  5. All lovely cards! Nichol's cards are gorgeous! My favourite winter activities are taking a walk when it first starts to snow and building snowmen with my daughter.

  6. My favorite winter activity… since we don't really have "winter" in the traditional sense in San Diego… I'd have to say staying indoors listening to the rain on the roof! Any rain here is very, very welcome… Love all of the inspirational projects, especially Melissa's elegant let it snow card… beautiful!

  7. Fabulous creations. Adorable…..beautiful…and fun ♥

My favorite winter activity…..I do NOT like the cold, however….if I must go out, I LOVE watching my dogs play in the snow ♥

  8. The vellum really makes a great snow scene. Loved the video, all my questions are answered how she made those cute cards. I live in the desert, so to me, Winter fun is looking at the snow in the mountains!

  9. Favorite winter activity…sitting in front of a crackling fire celebrating winter holidays with family. (Can't wait 'til the alpaca comes back in stock 🙂

  10. I would love to be able to get out in the snow and play but those days are long gone.
when I could get out I enjoyed just walking in the snow. It was refreshing to be out of the house.
Love Nichol's cards. Just change one animal and you have a new card design.
thanks for sharing all of the great cards and tags.

  11. I'm loving this week! So much wonderful inspiration!

In winter, I love going on walks when the snow is fresh and sparkling like diamonds in the sunshine and I actually enjoy shoveling as long as it isn't bitter cold.

Thanks for making me smile today!

  12. Thanks for the great tutorial. I have fallen in love with all those cute critters just by watching you develope these cards.
I love going for walks when there is a soft snow fall and watch how it blankets all of the Trees.

  13. I live in an area that doesn't see snow and really doesn't get very cold, but it is practically the only time of year that we can have bonfires and toast marshmallows! I love the winter here because I can do some of the fall activities I miss from my hometown. There's nothing better than a get-together with hot chocolate and smores!

  14. I love the snow and holiday baking and gift giving. I also love crafting for Christmas. Anything which is why I love all the wonderful creations today. I want to make them all. Thank you for sharing.

  15. Wonderful cards, love the
    papers and stamps. My
    fave winter activity would
be to stay inside where it's
    warm and dry and watch
    somebody else shoving
    the walks!

  16. Awesome cards and video! So many delightful card ideas!
My favorite winter activity is to bundle up and take a walk in the snow! Followed by a nice hot cup of cocoa when I get back to the house!

  17. Great inspirations today! I love walking in the snow and enjoy the beauty of the white scene at our backyard 🙂 The girls love making snow castle and snow angles for sure!

  18. These cards are so lovely! My favorite winter activity is taking walks in the fresh new snow with my husband then coming home and enjoying a cup of hot tea together.

  19. Fabulous inspiration cards. I really like the look of the vellum layer. I'm going to have to play with this idea. One of my favorite winter activities is going to see all the holiday lights. The botanical garden puts on an awesome display and there is the luminarias around the lake as well as walking the neighborhood to admire my neighbors' lights.

  20. My favorite winter activity depends on the day. After being outside for a while, I love to come in and have popcorn and hot chocolate and play cards or board games.

  21. Since it doesn't snow here in Houston, my favorite winter activity is to drink cocoa when it's chilly out. Of course, if we happen to go on vacation to a snowy place, we love to ski (usually a Spring Break activity for us 😉 ).

  22. My favorite snow activity…is staying OUT of it (after six winters in Iowa, I'm happy visiting it when *I* want to…which is rarely.) lol These are great creations. Nichole really is the master of the scene and using vellum, isn't she? So much goodness in all the inspiration. Thanks!! Looking forward to the rest of the week.

  23. Precious Projects, Lawn Fawn! I love them all. My fav. wintertime activity has always been sledding, but I'm far too old for it now. LOL Thanks! Paulette S. of paulettesprettypapercrafts at wordpress

  24. Our favorite activity in the snow every year is cutting down out Christmas tree! We spend the day in the snow looking for the perfect one and enjoying the snow 🙂

  25. I love the winter holidays then i dont have to get up and take the children to school for 2 weeks and we get to celebrate family birthdays that fall in winter

  26. Beautiful creations! My favorite winter activities are stamping and watching movies with my family. 🙂 I prefer to stay in out of the cold because the cold air aggravates my asthma.

  27. There are so many great projects on this post–I am thoroughly impressed AND inspired by all of them! The Llamakah was so cute and punny, and Karin's tag was so sweet. The coloring on the trees on Nancy's tag was such a nice touch, and the Let it Snow scripty saying is so pretty. And finally, the video and cards Nichole made were so pretty. I LOVE the use of velum for a wintery scene. Thank you DT. I love downhill skiing–hopefully this year I will have the chance to take on the slopes!

  28. I love Inspiration Weeks! The cards and other projects are simply fantastic and so fun to see!!
My favorite winter activity is the excitement I feel when I "smell" the scent in the air announcing that snow is on its way and then seeing / feeling it gently fall for the first time each season!

  29. Beautiful projects with the Christmas sets. Love them all. My favorite winter activity is to curl up with a good book in front of the roaring fire and watching the snow fall. Preferably when we have no place to go in the nasty weather. After the snow stops I love sledding! 🙂

  30. Awesome, awesome cards and projects. I absolutely love the vellum on Nichol's card. So very nicely done by all.
My FAVE Winter Activity is sitting in my cubby hole paper crafting and watching the snow fly.
Thanks so much for sharing with us.

  31. Love everyone's cards – so adorable! The little bunnies are so sweet. Being born & raised & still live in South Florida where we don't get a winter, I don't have a typical favorite winter activity. Does making Christmas cards count??? 🙂

  32. Outstanding projects! So adorable! Since i cannot participate in any physical winter activities, i love taking pictures of the snow falling, snow covered trees & hillsides 🙂

  33. I love going out real late on a snowy night and enjoying the QUIET and gently falling snow-no feeling like it!
diane who now misses snow in the desert!

  34. After a long day – it was so nice to sit down and watch a fabulous video from Nichol and to see so many happy projects! You made me smile! My favorite winter activity is to drink hot cocoa and roast marshmallows in the fireplace with my grandkids. They think this is so fun.

  35. each and every example is adorable and so creative. I am truly inspired. My favorite winter activity is baking cookies to share with my family and friends. There's nothing better than filling the air with the smell of brown sugar and cinnamon.

  36. I love all the new inspirations!! I'm making holiday cards, tags, goodie bags, and more this year. It's my first year creating cards for my family and friends. I really appreciate the tips and ideas!! Keep creating and thank you. Favorite activity in the snow, pretty hard to say because I live in sunny CA. But when we go to the snow, ice skating, skiing, drinking hot coco by the fire.

  37. We go to a cabin the first weekend of December- there's lots of snow, tree trimming & a festive potluck at the lodge! Each year I love seeing my kids grow in their snow shoeing & cross country skiing skills! We play hard & rest hard!

  38. Winter activity … I have to say staying indoors, by the fire, mulled wine in hand, sharing a box of chocolates with my hubby. Lovely cards and thanks for the video too.

  41. Favorite winter activity is staying indoors and making cards haha – it gets very cold here and I don't like the cold! Your samples today are adorable Love the colour combo used on the cards in your video!

  42. Love all the cards! My favorite winter activity is going for a walk and looking at all the Christmas lights, then coming home and drinking hot cocoa.

  43. I live in Florida so my favorite winter activity is watching the snow up north on the news and being thankful to live here. Karen's tag and Nichol's cards are gorgeous! !

  44. I love walking down the snowy town where i live, winters are mild here so it's not too cold and town looks beautiful. One of my new favourite winters activities became sewing felt ornaments. I have them all over my place!

  45. Oh my such lovely things today, I really love Nicole's vellum layered cards, and also Angels card so cute – well in the UK we tend to just get rain, rain, oh and more rain, which is cold and seriously yukky, but when we do eventually get just cold snaps with frost, I love to walk the dogs on the frosty grass and watch my little cocker spaniel go wild dashing around, so cute 🙂

  46. What absolutely beautiful winter cards ladies!!! I have to admit that I'm not very outdoorsy so my favorite snow activity is watching it fall against the street lights in the very morning hours before the world wakes up. It's so beautiful and peaceful!

  47. I love that alpaca stamp. Can't get enough of it in these projects! I love sledding in the wintertime. We only get a few snow days in western Washington so we make them a pretty special event.

  48. My favorite winter activity is watching the snow fall. I've had to have my back and my left knee operated on this year and still have to have my right knee operated on in December. No skiing or anything mildly dangerous for me!

  49. Such cute cards to get inspiration from! My favorite winter activity is to stay indoors, pile the blankets on, and read a good book, or knit. I'm not fond of cold weather.

  50. Oh how i really love Nancy's ornament of the snowy hills with the trees… but I really love Nichol's cards! That hint of gold and vellum just go so beautifully together!!! My favorite wintertime activity is to bake cookies and go driving around with my daughter to see all the holiday lights around the neighborhoods.
    Hugs,
    Jo

  51. oooh Karin her tag is sooo cute!
my favorite winter activity is walking with our dog!
Terry loves walking, running and playing with other dogs in the woods!
    liefs,
    denise

  52. Oooh I really hate the color red,
but Elena'a card is great, love it!
    my favorite memory…. mmmm….
    being all togheter with christmas,
    every year is very nice!
    liefs,
    denise

  53. All of these projects are just so inspiring! I cannot wait to get started on my Christmas project crafting this weekend (once I get my errands done this AM). My favorite winter activity is staying inside and watching the snow fall while I'm cozy and warm. 🙂

  54. Love seeing all these amazing projects! My favorite winter activity is taking a walk through the local park with all the trees light up and snow softly falling!

  55. So cute!! My favorite thing is to walk around looking at pretty lights and breathing in the chilly air while all cozy with a warm fluffy scarf and a big cup of coffee or cocoa. And the pet adoption holiday window display down at macy's (SF).

  56. I love the sweet bags today. I always enjoy when you share projects other than cards. I just like snuggling up by a fire and drinking hot cocoa and enjoying a good Christmas movie.
