  1. oh Kelly, still not feeling better ? i hope you'll soon recover, sending you big hugs! my favorite colors would have to be the traditional green and red for Christmas although the kids like to add all the colors they find, that makes it a big rainbow in the end and that's quite fun too

  2. Wishing you will recover soon! Sending hugs! Love these pretty plaid creations!
I love all bright colors and for the celebrations I love to choose the combo of Blue, green and yellow!

  3. This post was so inspirational! I love all the different ideas for Photos cards and stuff! But the card with the sheep was the cutest <3

I can't decide wether i prefer silver and shades of blue and blue mixed with green or the classical warm red and gold combination

  4. I love all of your plaid papers, but this set is tops! Love the pretty blues and yellows… My christmas colors? Purple, as much of it as possible, and then blues and whites that complement my purples. I'm the crazy purple lady! Gotta have it all year long!

  5. Plaid is my absolute favorite paper. So many combinations of colors and stripes. Perfect! Love all the projects today. For the holidays I tend to be really traditional so I guess I'd have to go with red and green. But if I am using snowflakes on a projects I tend to go with blues.

  6. Beautiful! I'm very traditional, so my fav is red & green, w/ a little gold or silver sparkle thrown in. That being said, I love the pretty blues I'm seeing!

  7. Love the pretty plaid!! Super cute projects! My favorite color combo is green & white with a touch of gold. Those are the colors that I use to decorate my Christmas tree.

  8. Wow, these ideas are so cute! Love them all! I love the way the tags at the top of the post are coordinating with the little "ring" part that the string goes through. I never thought to do that 🙂

  9. CUteness overload, love everyone's adorable creations. I have never
decorated based on a color scheme for any holiday. I do love having white
lights on my snowman, deer & tree outdoor decor, with multi-colored lights
    in the windows.

My favorite holiday colors are typically traditional red and green but I love adding touches of silver and gold as well 🙂 Thanks for sharing all of this wonderful inspiration!

  11. I just got my first 2 pads of LF plaid and I love all of the different patterns and colors! I’m tending te use blues and greys as I love arctic /snow themes! But it’s all great!

  12. These are some of my favorite papers and these projects are all great, as usual. My favorite color combo the past few Christmases has been blue and silver because it's just so peaceful. I hope you feel better soon.

  13. I love white combined with everything! My tree is white 🙂
I love to see your products used for layouts, because I don't make many cards, I am more a layout girl, so I always search this kind of inspiration – and the one in this post is just beautiful!

  14. I have a hard time narrowing down to a "favorite" because I love EVERYTHING (LOL!) but I tend to use traditional colors in my decorating of red, green and gold! Love the plaid papers, plaid is my favorite pattern, especially for the holidays!

  15. Which holiday? We have so many going on now. I love the green, orange and purple combo for Halloween and of course a touch of black. Love your plaid papers, I have them all!

  16. I hope you feel better soon Kelly, sending crafty hugs your way! I am more of a traditional Xmas combo kind of person, but this year I am loving lime green, teal, pink and red! Thanks for all the inspiration!

  17. My favorite holiday color combo is either cobalt blue and silver or red and white, depending on the day, the weather, my mood, etc.!
Continue to take good care of yourself.

  18. Love the colors in these papers! Can't wait to get mine in the mail! My favorite color combo for the holidays is more traditional-Red, Green, White, and Gold.

  19. I like more rustic colors for holiday decorating – dark red, hunter green, black, white, ivory, so cozy. I also like iridescent glitter that has a rainbow effect… which doesn't quite match the other colors.. LOL! I LOVE plaids! And all the samples here are ADORABLE! Thanks for the chance to win!

  23. Pretty much from September through Christmas I like to use natural colors and fibers and mix in the traditional colors of the holiday with them. Plaid is definitely on the list though! I love it all!

  24. What great paper and beautiful samples from the DT! Perfect timing because I'm wrapping all my Christmas packages in red, white, or kraft paper with plaid tags. My favorite color combo for the holidays is a weird one – turquoise and white. I decorated my living room in a 1950s style and I love getting out my white Christmas tree and decorating it with turquoise lights and ornaments. Thank you for the chance to win!

  25. Inspiration week always gets me so excited and I love seeing all your work ❤️ I love red and gold combo and pastels combo ❤️ We have a deep purple and copper brownish combo in our christmas tree, which is also breathtaking

  26. Love these papers! I use either a combo of blue/white/aqua, or the traditional red/green/white. Then I throw in some silver with the first or gold with the traditional.

  27. Gorgeous projects once again! I LOVE this paper!!!!! I love plaid period but your papers are so gorgeous and yummy! And I am so sorry to hear you are under the weather! Feel better!!!! As for my favorite colors for the holiday…. I have 3 sets of colors…. depending on which way I am going to decorate that year. If I am going vintage/shabby…. I like to use white/gold/cream/pink …. and if I am going whimsical/traditional… I will use green/red/gold/white ….. and if I am going wintry…. I use white/silver/blue! I do literally switch off with these color combos for the holiday each year and I try to add at least 2 or 3 new ornaments or decor pieces each year for that color scheme that I am going with. This year, I just may be going vintage as last year I did wintry!
    Hugs,
    Jo in Jersey

  28. My "color palette" changes from year to year. Sometimes I like the traditional red and green and other years I'd rather go for teals, blues and silver!

  29. Oh great – now I'm regretting not buying this paper pack when it was on sale! 🙂 I'll just have to snag it now… totes worth full price! 😀 I love using persimmon and pool together for vintage-y decor!

  30. I'm traditional when it comes to Christmas, so red and green are my favorite colors for the season. I like touches of gold in there too!
Thanks for sharing these projects – awesome as always!

  31. Adorable new papers!! Great projects by the DT!!!! Well orange is my favorite color, so my even my winter decorating gets orange in there!! Other then that its what ever I like!!

  32. I am in love with plaid! Buffalo plaid is my favorite, it goes with so many other color combinations and is great for anytime of the year:) Everyone rocked the plaid in their projects!! Thank you so much for all the inspiration:)

  33. The place card holders with the mice are sooo cute! The plaid papers used for the boxes are very nice. My favorite colors are browns/oranges for fall & greens/reds for Christmas decorating. Thanks!

  34. I love all the plaid collections and this one is super cool! 🙂 I've ordered one and waiting to get them 🙂 I love Indian traditional festival colors for the upcoming Diwali festival, red, yellow, green and gold 🙂

  35. My favorite color combination for Christmas is white, red, and green. I also love bright tropical colors with white for a tropical Christmas theme!! 🙂

  36. Loving the plaids, especially the blues and greens. My favourite holiday colours seem to change from year to year but at the moment I'm really enjoying dark evergreens with silver and the odd touch of classic Christmas red. Thanks for all the inspiration and hope you're feeling better soon! Lou x

  37. So sorry to hear you're still not feeling well. I look forward to seeing the videos when they're ready. No rush! I love this paper collection. Gives me all the warm fuzzies inside. Favourite Christmas colour combo is traditional greens, red and golds.

  38. Beautiful projects! I hope you get feeling well soon! My favorite fall decorating right now is the brown, oranges and yellow. Very traditional for fall.

  39. I'm very traditional when it comes to color combos for the holidays. However, a few years ago I found this ornament collection that was red, gold, and dark grey. I loved it so much that I of coarse bought it and changed my whole Christmas decorating, out with the green and in with dark grey.

  40. i liv the cozy, comfy, and happy color combinations Lawn Fawn has in the plaid paper packs! Last year I made pastel colored Christmas cards which was a bit outside my comfort zone, this year I am back to traditional red and green with a accent of metallic bronze or maybe rose gold! The new rose gold embossing powder is pretty amazing!

  41. My favorite decorating colors are red & gold because they are so warm & rich although I did buy a tiny, shiny pink tree last year & put some teal & red decorations on it 🙂

  42. I have been LOVING the look of Turquoise, Navy, Red and Silver for this year!! I CAN'T WAIT to Decorate for the Holidays, although right now I'm LOVING my Fall Decorations!! ❤️❤️❤️

  43. I love the plaid papers and this set doesn't disappoint!! Some fabulous projects by the design team showing it off. I have a couple colour combinations I love and I go with what I'm feeling at the moment I'm decorating. They are red and gold, blue and silver/white, and pink and white.

  44. I love white, icy blue, and rich burgundy for holiday decorations, but the traditional red and gold is gorgeous too! The blues and yellows of this paper set pair so well together!

  45. My favorite Holiday color combo red, teal, and silver! So far Inspiration week has been very inspiring. I've already made 60 Holiday cards this year for my annual card exchange in December. I'll be making more with these posts in mind.

  46. I love this paper set for fall, but also the classic yellow, orange, red and browns. For Christmas, I love the traditional red and green, but we also throw some silver in there too.

  47. This is a though one but I think I would choose the rustic winter cabin kind of color scheme if I where to pick only one combo. Reds, blacks, wooden browns, midnight blues, leafy greens and soft, warm vanilla white and some ivory. Something like that. Plus with a touch sparkling gold.

  48. So glad to see scrapbook pages as well as cards during inspiration week! I love to decorate with the traditional reds and greens for Christmas with lots of white snowy accents!

  49. Great projects!! I don't know if I have a color combo that I work with during the Holidays per say. I try to make my cards to the colors of what the people like whom I am making them for.
