Today is our showcase of Manatee-rific and Stitched Wave Borders! These cute manatees can’t wait to shell-ebrate your next occasion! This set is perfect for anniversaries (cheers to mantee-rific years together!) and any other occasion that calls for a celebration! Create your own oceans with Stitched Wave Borders! These borders are perfect for building your own ocean scene.

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Elena‘s super sweet Manatee-rific couple frolic in the Stitched Wave Borders die cut from Really Rainbow True Blue paper! The pretty pink curved banner is part of our Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On die set.

I just love Latisha‘s simply beautiful card design! The watercolor background is so pretty and how cool is that manatee painted in shades of pink and yellow!

Elise added ink-blended color to her Stitched Wave Borders to create her Manatee-rific ocean scene!

Lynnette added fun water-splatters to her inky ocean background; it looks like bubbles in the water!

Nicole‘s Manatee-rific card is so beautiful! I love how she used the Stitched Wave Borders to add texture to her watercolor background!

Yainea‘s colorful background combines Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders as the ocean floor!

Audrey‘s card is just so adorable! I love how she arranged the shells, flowers and seaweed on the sentiment banner; so pretty!

Chari‘s adorable manatees are white heat-embossed on Narwhal cardstock for a quick and cute no-coloring option! I love that she created a shaker card using the Porthole Frames and pretty little shell shaker bits! She used Watercolor Wishes paper to die cut the Stitched Wave Borders.

The Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On creates a fun 3D scene for Jenn‘s cute manatee couple!

I love how Jenn used Chunky Glitter to look like shimmery sand! Great idea!

Kay created a fun and colorful scene for the cute manatees to send a happy greeting!

Manatee-rific is perfect for a shell-ebration with a gorgeous ink-blended background! I love how Lizzy added a vellum Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame to her sweet scene!

Perhaps some more dolphins and turtles for a next set? Or a killer whale. I love how all those water sets (and the beach sets) go together.

  56. This blog post definitely put a smile on my face! We have some great pictures of manatees from a vacation in the Florida Keys. We were swimming off the dock one morning and all of a sudden a mama manatee and her little one showed up and swam with us – that is one of my best memories and this die set brought it all back! I cannot wait to get this set and put together some more scrapbook pages with it!

  57. So much neat inspiration for water-themed card techniques from all of these posts! Loving them! Having my preschooler jump into my lap this morning with a big hug and say, “Mommy, I love you SO much!” That, added to several hours of uninterrupted craft time (a Mom’s Day gift from the hubs!) absolutely made my day and made me smile!

My mother, who has moderate memory loss, was trying to tell me of a funny show she saw on tv, with “that guy, you know, the one who sings..and goes around doing crazy stuff.” She couldn’t remember who it was. Then all of a sudden she pops out, “Bradshaw!” I said, “Terry Bradshaw?” and she said, yes, and she was so happy she remembered him….then she told me some details of the show (which is “Better Late Than Never” where Terry Bradshaw, George Forman, Henry Winkler and William Shatner travel around and get into all kinds of shenanigans). She was so happy she remembered, and I was happy too. It definitely made me smile.

She’s nine and it was a fill in the the blanks type card. It was cute to see what she wrote (with a couple funny spellings.) It definitely made me smile!

  163. Eek those Manatee’s are so incredibly adorable! What made me smile today was thinking someone was one of my friends and so I was sassy to her and then she turned around and I realized it wasn’t my friend. Well…luckily my sassyness was appreciated and now I have a new friend. haha.

  165. Wow! These are so cute! What made me smile today was actually a dentist. It isn’t that I didn’t have any work done. I finally got my front tooth taken care of. It went very well and was probably the best dental appointment I have ever had. The assistant was excellent at keeping gunk from going down the back of my throat and made sure not to drown me(yes, I have had both those happen before). I have also gotten to taste novacane shots many times. Which is disgusting. It was such a good experience that I will probably keep my dental appointments from now on instead of putting them off until I am in pain. I also liked that my exrays showed up on a big screen tv right in front of me so I could see them immediately as they were taken. That there is nice tech. Also as he was checking my mouth, he took pictures of the teeth and they showed on the screen so I could see the condition of my own teeth. I know that is weird to be happy about, but for me it is a huge deal.

  294. Anyone ever heard of the song Barbara Manatee on Veggie Tales? I sing that song to my chubby pug. As soon as I saw the manatee stamp I started singing to her. Yes, I know…not normal. Who cares! It makes us both happy. I do believe that stamp set is in my future.

  300. The Manatees are so darling. The design team did an amazing job with their cute cards using them. I will get tons of use out of the great wave dies!

  302. My 6 year old came out wearing his shirt on backwards and his older sister nicely helped him turn it around an they didn’t even fight! That always makes me smile:)The DT and your samples are top notch! The manatees are too cute!

  318. Such cute manatees! A lady at the pharmacy made me smile today. She went out of her way to find a coupon for an expensive prescription I had to get. She got it to work at the last minute and was jumping up and down when it worked! I love people who really try to help others in their work.

  319. Well in addition to these super cute manatees, what made me smile today was my sweet dog Frito. He’s the best friend anyone could ask for and he sits up on his hind legs to beg for treats and does the cutest things that you just have to smile at.

  325. What made me smile this morning, was to hear my favourite birds, the black cockatoo. I was running over to the window just in time to see 8 screeching black cockatoos flying over!

  331. Love these manatees! Those stitched wave borders are to die for! I have seen a lot of others, but these are so. Beautifully designed…love the shape of them! A must have!

  339. Today it was noticing hubby did something for me without me expecting it, letting me know he thinks about me when he’s out. Makes me realize how lucky I truly am. I adore this cute manatee set.

  341. These mantee are so adorable and they really put a smile on my face, just like my little rescue dog Jake. Every morning he wakes me with a kiss and it starts my day off in the best way!

  343. Yainea and chari moss really are my favourite designers, all they do looks super awesome! I love these stitched waves! you can so perfecly use that for the pop up and shadow box card. I tried making waves once, it didn’t look so good. I’d be glad to have the stitched waves instead ♥

    My boyfriend made me smile today. He wasn’t even by my side, I was just thinking of him and grinning like a cheshire cat. And it’s not a new relationship, we’re together for more than ifve years and still i feel so in love I have to smile and grin without a specific reason. It’s cheesy I know 😀

  344. When my son was little we went to Florida and he loved the manatees. At the aquarium he was able to pet one. He was so excited.

    The birds in our garden made me smile too … one was merrily perched on the edge of the bath, splashing away, another impatient one got sick of waiting, so went underneath it and grabbed it by the tail and tugged it down 🙂

  352. What made me smile today was waking up to my kitten right on my chest licking my face. She’s just so cute and fluffy; it’s always a welcome wake up call. 🙂

  380. The manatee set is by far my favorite in this release… they are soooo stinkin’ cute! My silly little Papillon made me smile… she is always chasing lizards in the backyard (but thankfully rarely catches them). Today she came back into the house with the silliest grin on her face since she chased 3 of them all over the place… she thought it was best fun!
