Today is our showcase of Village Shops!  Treat yourself to a day out with this fun set of shops! These stores, ice cream truck, and accessories are perfect for creating a cute little town. Stamp the included icons onto the sign, store windows, or layer them on top of the rooftops for cute custom shops. The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using this fun new set!

Yainea‘s adorable card features 3 adorable Village Shops scenes in a comic strip style! This set allows you to customize the shops with sweet little images!

I love how Kay designed a sweet Main Street feel for her village! The Stitched Mountain Border and Stitched Hillside Border suggest a quaint mountain hamlet!

Lynnette created a sweet trio of Village Shops birthday cards! Her beautiful coloring and pretty papers from Really Rainbow and Perfectly Plaid Spring give them a special style!

Audrey created a beautiful pink color story with a bold black Road Border! Her Village Shops birthday card will certainly bring smiles!

Elise included a fun interactive Reveal Wheel to her sunny Village Shops design! Her fabulous coloring gives the shops a cute cartoon look! The trees, cloud and sun from Happy Village coordinate beautifully!

Elena created sweet little village vignettes using Peekaboo Backdrop! I love the pretty blue sky and her soft style of coloring the cute images!

Lizzy‘s card is gorgeous! I love that amazing night sky and the way she gave the little shops the look of evening shadows while keeping them cheery!

Latisha‘s beautiful watercolor adds a special look to her sweet, clean and simple cards!

Jessica cleverly added a giant I Scream, You Scream sugar cone to the top of the adorable ice cream truck with a seriously whimsical result! The sentiment from Elphie Selfie fits perfectly!

Chari created a delightfully sunny little village with Stitched Hillside Backdrop, a Stitched Rectangle Frame and bright Really Rainbow paper!

Our Village Shops set is great for coordinating a cute scene with a gift card on the inside! Chari used the Simple Gift Card Slots to secure the card and added the sweet sentiment!

  1. Wow only 1 place to name, that is a hard one I have many. But it would be my local Hobby Lobby for crafting supplies. It is the only place in my small town to buy crafting supplies. Loved all the cards today

  2. That’s a tough one. If I had to pick a favorite brick and mortar store, I would chose Michaels and if it’s an online store tht would be Lawn Fawn, of course!!!!

  4. Oh My GOSH! I cannot handle the cuteness of the little village shops!!!!!!!! And to think of putting the “giant” ice cream cone on top of the teeny tiny ice cream truck, LOL! My favorite place to shop is Butterfly Reflections Ink (online) She carries Lawn Fawn of course!

    My favorite place to shop is Michaels … my husband refers to
    it as my ‘boyfriend’s place’. lol (And Joann’s is my girlfriend!).

  6. I absolutely LOVE these fun little village sets! Especially all the cute dies and things you have to go with them! Well, I have to say that my favorite place to shop is on line because you can do it in your pjs!! 🙂 But to GO somewhere to shop, I would have to say Menards…I dream and get carried away sometimes! LOL!

  8. I love the little shops. Any craft shop is my favourite place to shop! Though there are not as many inexpensive ones here in Australia than there are in the US. I do like homewares shops and garden shops too.

  10. These are just the cutest. My favorite place to shop is TJ Maxx/Homegoods unless I am shopping for stamping products.

    My favorite place to shop is the outlet mall about 15-20 minutes away from our house. Lots of stores at affordable prices…and I can always hit up Target in the way home. 🙂

  14. I’m cheating when I say this, but it’s true- my favorite place to shop is online. That’s where I do most of my shopping.

  15. My favorite place to shop is Scrappin in the City! It’s my local boutique scrapbook shop. And they sell all kinds of lawn fawn!!! It’s my oasis!

  17. I live in a small town, not much shopping. Amazon right now, my favorite and I never have to leave the house. This town set is adorable. You have thought of everything and the little icons and signs are so cute. Just love it! I would like to shop there!

  19. I shop Hobby Lobby for consumable supplies. I really prefer online shopping, though. Love the cute villages created!

  21. This set is so cute! I love to shop many places, like Betty’s Creative Studio locally, but online shopping at Amazon is fantastic for finding the things I can’t get in person. 🙂

  22. Favorite place to shop would be a 2nd hand book store, with hidden treasures on every shelf, or the village in Jessica’s card with the giant ice cream truck passing through. Love it 🙂

  27. This might sound a little weird, but I love going grocery shopping with my family at our local Whole Foods because I can get some yummy food for the week and get a great iced latte and donut!!

  28. I love how versatile this Village Shops set is for creating scenes that you can personalize or coordinate with so many other Lawn Fawn products! The design team has done an amazing job showcasing this very idea! My favourite places to shop is my local craft store called Scrappin and Cardmakin at the Craft Shack, Debbie Lamey is an amazing shop owner and of course she carries Lawn Fawn products!

  30. Love the adorable village shops products,so fun! Amazing inspiration projects as always. I couldn’t pick one favorite paper craft shop so I’ll pick The Mustard Seed. It is a great little thrift shop that supports charity. They so cleverly display products and also sell products hand made in third world countries.

  39. Love the village shops set. Brick and mortor would have to be Hobby Lobby as that is the closest. on line would be amazon, mft, Gina K , unity and hero arts. Most of the time the online is Amazon as I can get Lawn Fawn there and the shipping is closer.

  45. This is SO adorable! That little ice cream truck has me completely smitten! My favorite local shop is an adorable little bakery and coffee shop right down the road from my house called Whisk + Measure. It’s so cute and full of delicious treats!

  46. A lot of great cards but my favorite is the 1st one by Yaine. My favorite near by shop would be Dollar Tree but if I could drive 45 minutes one way it would be Hobby Lobby or JoAnn’s (across the street from each other). Favorite online would be Hallmark Scrapbook .com

  47. i’m sad that a lot of people had to list big box store or chains as their favorite local shops 🙁 small independently owned places seem to be going by the wayside but i have to say that here in ann arbor we are lucky to have a lot of independently owned stores and restaurants. I’d be hard pressed to pick a fave. Not to many local stamping stores around anymore but there is one not terribly far in northville, michigan called the stampeddler that has managed to survive 🙂

  48. The girls have done an amazing job with these cards! I love the bright colors & the backgrounds on Audrey & Lizzie’s cards are like WOW!!! I live in a rather small town that doesn’t have any craft stores so I mainly shop online. My favorite is ScrapbookPal because they always carry the newest LF items at great prices. They ship free at $25 & it crazy fast! My LF items arrive within 2 days!

  49. I have 2 favorites! I love What’s Poppin Texas popcorn store and Little Blue House craft store.
    The huge cone on the truck is adorable!

  50. It is really rare to have a local shop in a big city like Las Vegas, but I do have one favorite, COCO donut, family owned, the one and only in town, love their baked goods!
    I loved how you put these together!
    How beautiful is the village set, I love all of the details you added to make it so cute and fun!

    I just discovered a new craftstore (Scrapbooknerd) that carries Lawn Fawn products….it is a new favorite craft store.

  52. I’m in a village, so we don’t have a lot of local shops.
    I patronize the grocery store, Dollar General, and
    the hardware store the most. Next would be
    the library. Love the stores. Fun to add

  53. I just realized I don’t have a whole lot of local shops around. There is a fun scrapbook/craft shop called dandelion wishes in my area. Pretty fun to visit!

  54. Since my “local” craft store is over away I’ll pick my local “feed and seed” store. I can buy hedgehog and dog food there and also all my garden supplies.

  55. Adorable cards, designers! We have a really cute frozen yogurt/homemade candy/caramel apple ship in Iowa City that is just so cute and has the yummiest treats!

  56. Art Effects on Armitage in Chicago…. all sorts of home decor items that one “needs”! Just got a beautiful stained glass picture frame there for my desk at work for a new picture of my hubby!

  57. Love the ice cream truck with the giant cone….cute! My favorite local shop is a grocery store owned by an Amish family. They have home made ice cream that you can get and eat as you shop.

  58. I love all these little village scenes and can’t wait to play around with the sets! I don’t really have any favorite small local shops. There are a few local stores that are parts of chains that I love going into because of the people there through.

  59. Really enjoyed seeing the cards made with this village set. I don’t really go to a lot shops. I have my craft store Hobby Lobby in the next town over. It is fun to walk down my towns main street and look at all the different shops. We have a lot of antique shops.

  64. These little shops are adorable!!! I love the scenes that can be created with them!! I’m a homeschooling mother of 3 so I don’t have a lot of time to go to the local shops. BUT, one of the most fun around here is called The Purple Cow: it’s a fun little shop with jewelry and lots of fun gifty type products–all quite unique and artsy.

  76. Super adorable cards from all of the designers. Here is Tampa Bay area we have a local craft store called Whimsodoodle that (lucky me) carries all of the Lawn Fawn and participates in the new releases.

You totally got me with today’s question – I am not sure I have a favourite local shop… Hmmm… There’s one shop, however, called HobbyPoint… I’m sure you know where I’m going with this… 😉 I just MIGHT be visiting it more often than any other shops in the area (groceries excluded, LOL).

  85. SoHA in Hilton Hawaiian village in Waikiki. Just 5 mins walk from my apartment. They sell unique, nice & fancy stuff, in Hilton hotel’s property. The smell, things tropical & atomosphere make you feel relaxed 🙂 I have other store stamp sets. I need to add this to my collection!

  86. My favorite local shop is called Trade Roots, a fair trade store that sells beautiful things from all over the world.

  91. My most favourite local shop would have to be “Memories and More”. It’s a little scrapbook shop here in my town and the lady who owns it is marvellous. That ice cream truck has me swooning 🙂

  92. My favorite local shop is a wonderful ice cream shop which has been there since I can remember. Summer evenings used to always end with a stop there. Best ice cream in the area…yum!

  94. Loving this set! I always love to look at my local gift store – there is an amazing range of homewares and a cute little craft section that is always changing – it’s always such a nice surprise to see what goodies I’ll find every time I step in!

We have a local ice cream Show Jaxson’s and it’s crazy amazing!! I don’t even like ice cream (I know, my fam can’t understand this either) but their cotton candy?? I’m on that! They also have all kinds of foods – my fam is a big fan of their cheese fries! If you’re ever in South Florida – you’ve GOT to do yourself a favor and go!!

  112. Other than my craft stores my favourite shops have been the cute shops in Old Ellicott City. Hopefully they all recover from the most recent flooding!

  113. My favorite local shop is a snoball shop. It started off as a food truck and they’ve gained a lot of popularity so they opened their own shop. Seeing the truck go by with the ice cream on top reminds on them since they still operate out of their truck.

  118. Sort of live in the middle of nowhere, so none locally. My favourites are online. I love a few paper craft shops and some jewellery making ones.
