Today is our showcase of Simply Celebrate Summer and its coordinating dies and Simply Summer Sentiments! Get ready to celebrate summer! These rows of images make it easy to create quick (but cute) greeting cards. This set coordinates with the sentiments in Simply Summer Sentiments to help you celebrate summertime!

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Lynnette included four of the five summery borders in Simply Celebrate Summer to create a cheerful design! She added the sentiment included in the set on an Everyday Sentiment banner and this quick and easy card is ready to send a smile!

Latisha combined the fun row of succulents with the punny sentiment that coordinates with them from Simply Summer Sentiments! I love the pretty rainbow colors of the pots!

Megan‘s clever card uses Peekaboo Backdrop to create windows to display the potted succulents! She paired the Simply Celebrate Summer border with the Year Ten cactus and added cute mice!

Kara used Jellyfish ink to stamp out the rows of melons and pineapples to do some fantastic no-line coloring! I love how she stamped them on the diagonal! She added a Lift the Flap to hide a cute Crazy Antics picnic scene underneath!

I love how Grace combined 2 borders of succulents to fill this slimline card! The cute little gnome with his wheelbarrow is so cute, he fits perfectly in this scene! The fun and punny greeting features Oliver’s Stitched ABCs.

Elena‘s adorable design is frosty fun! It’s perfect to send cool ice cream cone smiles in summertime and it’s just as fun for winter!

Audrey‘s fun water-colored card is so beautiful! I love the white embossed sentiment on black cardstock, it’s a great contrast to the pretty rainbow colors of the succulent pots!

Tammy got really creative and used the ice cream cones as accessories in this fun ice cream truck scene! She used I Scream, You Scream for the big cone on the truck! She crafted the truck from dies and added the pretty striped awning from Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On!

Mindy‘s beach scene is so much fun! She trimmed the border of flip flops into pairs to bury them in the cute Sandy Beach Accents! She filled out her scene with All the Clouds, On the Beach and Stitched Simple Wavy Borders!

Yainea created a set of cards with a fun watercolor design! I love how she only added color to one or two of the images in the Simply Celebrate Summer borders! She used patterned papers from Really Rainbow, Really Rainbow Scallops and Spiffy Speckles to color coordinate!

Elise made a pair of cards with a simply beautiful design! I love the colorful rows of Simply Celebrate Summer images. She used fun Bannertastic banners to add the the sentiments from Simply Summer Sentiments!

Melissa added lots of fun and variety to her card set by swapping colors of cardstock and using vellum, shimmer and glittery paper layers!

This happy summer scene combines the Crazy Antics ants with the watermelon border from Simply Celebrate Summer! Megan‘s design is so fresh and fun!

Tammy used the Brick Stencil to create a sunny wall to display the happy succulents! She used two border images to fill the length of this super cute slimline card!

Marine designed a fun “home office” complete with a shelf of cute succulents! She combined images from Screen Time, Keep on Swimming, You’re Just My Type and Say What? Pets on a Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait!

  2. I simply LOVE this set! I just got it yesterday so today will be play-time! But, as it is summer, I’ll will enjoy the sun for a couple of hours first. What I like most with summer is the light, the warmth, sit outside with a cup of coffee and read a good book…

      What I love about summer is taking long afternoon naps when it’s too hot to do much else.

What I love the most about summer, is that the days are longer, you can sit in your garden and enjoy the sun and at nights you can warm yourself at a Swedish wood log and stay up late talking to your partner with a nice drink or cocktail. We even have colored yard party lights. So every (dry) night is a little party and we can relax from the busy day and just talk!

  14. What I love about summer? There are so many things. I think one of my favorite things is sitting on our back patio and enjoying the scenery. This year we have a farm field of wheat growing out past our yard. It is beautiful!

  114. What I love the most at summer was captured perfectly in Mindy’s card with the buried flip flops in the sand. Being on the beach at the family cabin of 70+ years is the absolute best part of summer. And I loose my flip flops in the sand all the time (kids love to bury them lol).

  137. Fresh Hand Picked Strawberries dipped in chocolate. My family has a tradition of having a chocolate fondue party outside on the both the first and last days of Summer. Fresh Corn with anything is always a treat too.

My favorite thing about summer is being able to roast hot dogs outside, and also being able to wear my flip flops. I don’t like socks or covered shoes so I miss my flip flops all winter.

  207. WATERMELON! Summers in Texas are hot, but I love being outside with my plants and, if you add a slice of watermelon, I am a happy Texan.

We can’t take it this year because of covid, But we are going to enjoy time at home tother instead and are looking forward to taking it next year!

  274. I love summer because it means my birthday is here. I also like floating in the pool with a good book. But because it is so hot here you can usually find me sitting in my craft room crafting with the AC on.

  277. My favorite thing about summer is warmer weather!! I live on the O.C. (Oregon Coast) where it’s cool most of the year. But as we get deeper into summer, it warms up and the sun is more plentiful, which makes me so happy. I also love the sound of lawnmowers in summer – it takes me back to my childhood and how everyone was mowing their lawns during summer. I’d smell that beautiful aroma of fresh-cut grass while playing in the sun and eating popsicles. That’s the best, too!

    My favourite thing about summer are impromptu backyard bbq’s and gatherings. It seems like people are more spontaneous in the summer and I really love that.

  296. I love the sun! Of course in Denver we get 300+ days of sunshine each year, which makes me happy!

  300. My children are mostly grown, one still in college and I love having the whole family over for dinner.

  301. I love going to the beach in the summer and relaxing. Also getting together outdoors with friends, BBQing, sitting back and just chillin.

  303. The summer brings us time to be with our family outside. It is unfortunate that this year also holds fear with the COVID 19 epidemic. However, Lawn Fawn has brought smiles to our “indoor” faces and encouragement to share love with others through paper crating!

  320. What I love most about summer is the long nights in the garden! We only have about five of those a year as I am in England and the weather is always terrible, so we make the most of them :))))

    I love so much about summer, swimming, watermelon, eating ice cream without getting cold, school holidays.

  346. These cards are all so fabulous! I think the different versions of the succlents are my fav, but I really dig that card with the big ice cream cone atop it! And Marine’s card with the four square backdrop and succlents! OH MY! All of them are really great! What do I like best about summer?, oh goodness that is a tricky one. S’mores in the backyard, big screen movies in the backyard, lazy days, they are all great but I think my favorite is reading to my son at night right before bed. We can stay up longer and then we tend to chat afterwards. He is nine and I fear it will not last long so this is my favorite right now. Great fun with these summer items! Great fun!!!
