Lawn Fawn Video {6.15.21} Getting Squirrely with Kara’s Spinner Card

Woohoo! Tomorrow is our Big Giveaway Post which signals the start of Summer Release Week! We can’t wait to share all the new sets and crafty goodies we have been working on!

Kara is having some squirrely fun with her spinner card today! Her office-themed congratulations card features Virtual Friends Add-On and the original Virtual Friends! You can watch her create this card in today’s video tutorial below, or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video!

The idea for Kara’s brilliant design is a little squirrel thinking of his friend who has received a job promotion! She created a festive card front with grassy and cloudy stencils and Distress Oxide ink. She added more fun by white embossing the banners from Virtual Friends Add-On and “wheeeee!” from Really High Five!

The Stitched Thought Bubble Frames create the window for the spinning office chair and carry out a “thoughtful” theme!

The Virtual Friends Add-On office chair is perfect for a spinner design and Kara’s celebrating squirrel can get good and squirrely as he spins! She combined Virtual Friends with Den Sweet Den (books), You’re Just My Type (lamp) and Virtual Friends Add-On (potted plant and pencil cup) to create the fun office scene!

She pieced together sentiments from sets in her stash (Year Ten, All the Clouds) along with Simply Sentiments and Milo’s ABCs to add her congratulations!

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful design with us today, Kara!

  2. This is such a cute card. And I could listen to Kara’s voiceovers all day – she makes me smile every time!! 😁

  3. Hi, LF and Kara P –
LF, you make the best and cutest characters and scene elements.
Kara, your videos are SO GREAT! You are a master at showing and explaining how to plan, design, prepare and assemble the contents of your card scenes. From a teacher of 28 yrs, I offer you a huge WELL DONE and even more ginormous THANK YOU!
This card is just delightful. Which would be better: the promotion or getting this card for it?
