See you then!

Jessica Spencer is back with a great idea for making a unique set of birthday cards!

Jessica took her color cues from our Watercolor Wishes Rainbow papers, using them to die cut the Giant Happy Birthday! Then she used coordinating colors of Spiffy Speckles papers on each monochromatic design! She cut a second Giant Happy Birthday from Black Licorice cardstock as a shadow so the greeting stands out!

Those adorable Tiny Birthday Friends look like they belong in a 50s TV series! Jessica used Toner Gray Copic markers (T1, T3, T5), to color the little images so they have that old classic television look!

Jessica used the Snowy Sky Stencil to add some interest to the background with sparkle embossing paste. To finish her card set, she added a sentiment from Simply Celebrate, and then sprinkled some color coordinated sequins on the cards!

Thanks so much for sharing this clever card set with us today, Jessica!

  1. What a simple yet striking card. These are really useful to create when a birthday is just around the corner. Super cute Jessica.

  2. Great cards! I love offsetting the Birthday die with black cardstock. And coloring in gray tones is great – I will give that a try.

  3. So cute! I am going to have to try a B&W card, they look fun!
Can we please get a timeline on the Christmas release??
It seems like the companies have really jumped the gun on all seasons this year and I was trying to get an idea of when Lawn Fawn will be putting out the Christmas release for a friend I know will be going out of town. I don’t want her to miss making those adorable Lawn Fawn Christmas cards (and I can’t wait to see both the fall and Christmas releases myself…so excited!
    Thank you!!

  4. Really cute cards! Love the offset of the black behind the wording, it really made it pop! The colors are fun also! I really liked the gray you did for the tiny people. That was a neat take on it. I will definitely try it.
