Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Summer 2022 Inspiration and Release Week! On May 19th our 11 new stamp sets, 17 new die sets, 3 new stencil sets, new paper collection, and more new products will be available at your favorite store and www.lawnfawn.com! Woohoo! Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Pool Party and its coordinating dies! We have taken some favorite critters to the pool! The unicorn, sloth, llama and cat are ready to enjoy lounging on pool floats and sending sunny summer greetings!

We also introduce Stitched Ripple Backdrop! This die adds rippled, wavy stitching detail and cuts a standard-sized card panel. It pairs perfectly with Pool Party and Flamingo Floatie!

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these sunny new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Mindy created an infinity shaker card to show off the cute new Pool Party set. It looks like shimmering water with the confetti and new Stitched Ripple Backdrop!

Grace used Stitched Pond and Stitched Pond Frame to make a glitter filled pool shaker! The Gotta Have Gingham background looks like a tiled patio, so clever!

Yainea used a diagonal line design to define the pool and the pool deck. I love how she inked and splattered the Stitched Ripple Backdrop to give it a watery look! The sentiment is so perfect for the cute critters relaxing on pool floats and by the pool!

Lynnette‘s colorful poolside scene is so perfect for a summer birthday! She combined Pool Party with the On the Beach umbrella!

I love how Audrey‘s Pool Party critters look like they are floating in a lazy river at a water park! She used Hillside stencils to ink up the river on the Stitched Ripple Backdrop!

Elise created a fantastic clean and simple card! In addition to the Pool Party images and sentiment, she did a little inking then added Scripty Hello. This design is so perfect for sending summer happiness!

I love how Latisha brought the Pool Party to the beach! She created the beach scene with the help of Stitched Simple Wavy Borders, Tropical Backdrop and On the Beach!

Caly created a glitter-filled shaker swimming pool that is so beautiful! I love how she added the pattern to the edge of the pool with the Brick Stencil! She stenciled the pool also using Hillside Stencils to give it a wavy pattern.

Marine‘s tropical Pool Party design is so much fun! I love how she added hibiscus from Toucan Do It and accessories from On the Beach. And the splashes from Beary Rainy Day also create lots of action. The Really High Five critters are a such fun addition to the party.

Elena‘s shaker pool scene is so cool! I love how she used the critters on floaties to help spell out the greeting! It’s so clever!

Tammy‘s beach scene is the stuff of happy summer memories! She included critters from Butterfly Kisses and Really High Five to fill in the extended slimline scene! The background was stenciled using our new Sunray Stencil and it adds so much sunshine to the design!

Kara put her amazing Copic coloring skills to use creating the realistic patterns for the pool water, border and patio! Her colorful critters and pool floaties make this Pool Party so special!

Elise also created a sequin-filled shaker Stitched Pond! She added lots of glitter the pool as well. Who wouldn’t love to receive something so cool in the mail?

    I don’t like baking directly in the sun, I prefer being partly shaded by a tree and looking up at the rays streaming through the leaves, it’s very peaceful

  126. I love the lounging critters—perfect in the pool or out! I grew up learning to swim at the YWCA, so no snackos were involved. But I think my favorite summer activity might be poolside, but would definitely include snackos!

    I love the sea and beaches, but we don’t live anywhere near a coast. So when I’m not on vacation, I enjoy our large backyard and the Jacuzzi we put up a little over a year ago. It’s a big plus that the water is always warm in it – I hardly ever make it into the ocean unless I’m somewhere in the tropics because the water is always too cold for me.

  237. That’s a tough one b/c I do not like being in the sun. I live in Arizona and avoid outdoors in the summer as much as possible. Sadly. BUT when I was younger, you couldn’t keep me out of the pool.

For me, the perfect day of summer will start early for a walk with my dog before the heat hit you too heavily. Then a light breakfast but with lot of tea and then some crafting and yoga time and finally… Spend most of the day near a desert swimming pool, ended with another doggy walk and a cocktail by the pool. Finish the day with friend or my lover (or both) for a firecamp with ghost stories.

  571. I ‘enjoy’ summer sunshine by avoiding it indoors. I spend the most time indoors during the day in the summer as I am extremely sensitive to the sun. When I go out I have to be fully covered with sun protective clothing. I do like summer nights though! So I guess you could say I bask in the sunlight bouncing off the moon?
