Karin’s Lovely Watercolor Apples

Karin joins us again today to share more of her beautiful water-coloring! She created two lovely cards featuring Build-A-Barrel Apple and Henry’s ABCs.

For the first card, Karin framed the apple barrel with a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame. This beautiful design is perfect to tell a friend that they are “apple-solutely awesome”! Karin added “you” with Henry’s ABCs on the cover to finish the greeting on the inside. You “are awesome” or “are the best” would be good options!

Karin die-cut the apples and barrel from watercolor cardstock, then she put her skills to work! She uses Daniel Smith watercolor paint, but you can use whatever watercolors you may have.

To create the rustic background for this card, Karin used a scoring board to add “wood panels” to Woodgrain cardstock. The apples look so pretty lined up across the bottom edge.

This design would be perfect to thank a teacher or swap the greeting to send happy birthday wishes!

Your watercolor blows me away every time, Karin! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cards with us today!
