Fawny Holiday Video

Christy gets the holiday fun started with a scene featuring Treat Cart and Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee! You can watch her video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching Christy’s holiday video inspiration!

Christy‘s polar peppermint party card is so sweet! I love the minty color palette in Christy’s coloring and the Candy Cane Lane papers!

Christy added lots of sweet treats to her scene using images from Holiday Helpers and A Creature Was Stirring. The little Snow Much Fun and Den Sweet Den bears look adorable as polar bears!

More Design Team Inspiration

Mimi used Garden Gnome to make the cutest gift tags! She combined patterned papers in red and green to dress up the gnomes and tags in holiday colors!

She attached the gnomes to Say What? Gift Tags and stamped sentiments from Say What? Christmas Critters.

To make the tags ready for adding to gift packages, Mimi tied red and lime green Hemp Twine to each tag.

Megan‘s Christmas card is so sweet and elegant! I love how she created a pattern on the vellum panel by gold embossing Christmas multiple times. She layered this panel on two layers of Candy Cane Lane paper before adding the Peppermint Border candies. She finished the card with Scripty Merry in gold metallic layered on a beautifully shaded Scripty Merry Outline Add-On.

Grace‘s Peppy Penguin money holders are bright and cheery! She used Candy Cane Lane paper cut with the second largest of the Large Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables for the tag base. Then she cut an additional rounded rectangle from white cardstock to layer onto the back of each tag.

On the back, Grace stamped the holiday greeting with Penguin Party and Offset Sayings: Christmas! I love the solid greeting stamped in Grape Jelly ink!

To add more festive fun to the tags, Grace included an Outside In Stitched Snowflake in Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock and stars from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag. She also dressed up the penguins with scarves and earmuffs from Build-A-Snowman and then added a gift from Deck the Car!

Then Grace punched a hole in the top of the tag and tied on a Tiny Tags star with colorful Hemp Twine. To make the money holder, she simply cut two of the smallest Stitched Circle Frames, folding them in half. She glued one side to the tag and slide rolled up bills through the openings. So clever!

  1. Love these design team crafts, so clever to turn the gnomes into Father Christmas/Elves and the bears as polar bears! 🙂
I love decorating our tree with Christmas music playing while having a minced pie and mulled wine

  2. Every year we get together and make 100 coffee cakes for family and friends. A tradition my grandma started over sixty years ago.

  3. I love our annual gingerbread baking. Is super cozy and fun! The recipe comes from my grandmother so it makes the tradition even more special to me.

  4. We started a family tradition of going to a Christmas tree display when the boys were born. So fun to see all the different decorations and themes!

  5. Early December we live going to pick our Christmas tree, decorating it and the house brings a festive and bright vibe to the late afternoon sunsets and darkness outside. Putting up my Manger scene completes the Christmas feel

  6. We like to go on luminary walks and to Christmas Markets. We are very blessed to have Glo Wild, a lantern festival at our Zoo and we have a lot of drive / walk through light displays. We also have tons of pop up Christmas Markets that started last weekend. I love the holidays!

I think the cash holder is not only adorable but so clever to use the circles to hold the money. We have 6 nephews and they may be getting some upgraded cash holders this year. LOL

  7. I love exploring the local Christmas festivities! Drive-thru light displays, Nativity scenes, tree lighting ceremonies, parades, etc. 🎄

  8. Such cute cards and ideas!! I love going to see the Nutcracker ballet every year with my daughters and the grands!!😊🎄🩰

  9. Darling cards and tags!
I really enjoy doing some holiday baking! I package up the goodies and share them with friends and neighbors!

  10. I love painting my annual friends and family Christmas ornament. This year it’s a sweet little penguin. And of course making Christmas cards for friends, family, and a senior resident assisted living facility.

  11. I love the idea for adding money to the tag! I may need to try that. I like to bake cookies that the family enjoys and making cards for special friends and family

  12. I make a lot of Lawn Fawn goodie bags, milk cartons, treat boxes, and/or cake slice boxes to put treats in and give them to my lady friends at our holiday brunch. So fun!

  13. We have several Christmas traditions that include checking out the lights, baking & getting new Christmas themed pj’s on December 1st when we start our adventure calendars.

  14. Oh my goodness the creativity of the design team always blows me away!
An activity that we do is driving around looking at all the wonderful Christmas lights each year.

  15. Besides all the fun baking, decorating, and Christmas light tours, our favorite holiday activity is our traditional Christmas Eve candlelight seafood fondue dinner!

  16. Every year I enjoy looking at Christmas lights in the small towns in the area. Growing up it was a tradition to sing Christmas songs and look for lights on our car trip home from my grandparents every weekend beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was a two hour trip and my Dad would take a different route each week. We would do our own decorating contest.

  17. I love baking cookies with my sister & her kids every year.
We play Johnny Mathis Christmas music in honor of our Mom.
It makes us feel like she’s still with us. <3

  29. I always loved getting to put up the tree and decorate it when I was a kid. Now with my husband, I still love putting out the tree but it’s a different kind… We don’t have space for an actual tree, so I made a few of the Jolly Christmas Trees and added magnetic tape on the back so they go up on the fridge in December 🎄

  30. One of my “getting ready for the holidays” activities is baking a whole ton of cookies to give to family and friends. It has been a tradition that started when I was10 years old.

  31. The part of the holidays I like best is hanging out with my adult kids and my sisters’ families…this usually involves eating and some sort of gameplay or movie-watching. I love that they still like to hang out with us, and the holidays make it even more festive!

  32. Dear LF and designers –
All that was shared above is superb. Thanks for the video, C!!
