Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some great ways to use this new interactive set! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Grace used the Pull ‘n Slide Surprise to create the sweetest get-well card! She used critters from Simply Celebrate More Critters in a tropical scene created with Toucan Do It and a tree trunk from Simply Celebrate Hangouts.

She used acetate to extend her scene, so it looks like the toucan, branch and leaves are part of the jungle canopy over the talkative critters! Grace used Simply Celebrate Critters Add-On to put words in their speech bubbles.

And she added more cuteness with the toucan under the slider. Then she included the Hang in There sloth, keeping it hidden until the slider is pulled up! This brilliant design is sure to help the recipient feel better!

Audrey is sending a thoughtful gift to a lucky recipient from the whole herd! This herd is from Simply Celebrate More Critters and they are lined up on a farm fence from our new Simply Celebrate Hangouts set!

Build-A-Barn is so perfect for creating a fun farm scene! Audrey created even more dimension by adding the Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts to the barn.

The cute critters are keeping the gift card safe until it’s time to redeem it!

Megan card is so lovely, filled with Spring beauty! She created a flower arrangement in the Watering Can using Spring Flowers Backdrop and Little Flowers. She layered a vellum circle behind the flowers, securing just the bottom of the circle below the fold on the slider mechanism.

This card is so special and would look so pretty sitting on a shelf or fireplace mantle! And how sweet is that little vignette of flowers with a message from All the Speech Bubbles stamped the cute tool.

Marine filled her Pull ‘n Slide Surprise with cute pirates and hidden treasure from Ahoy Matey! She created the tropical scene with Toucan Do It and Life is Good. I love how she added detail to the card with Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop framing the interactive scene!

When the slider is pulled up, the little pirates find the treasure and the cute Henry’s ABCs greeting is revealed as well!

Marine’s design is so clever, extending the inked background onto the slider mechanism! It gives a cool seamless look to her interactive card.

Elena‘s interactive card is so sweet! She combined Treat Cart with the squirrel from Backyard Bird Feeder Add-On. And she also brought in a happy mouse from Whoosh Kites, and balloons from Yappy Birthday!

I just love the cute little mouse with an ice cream cone hiding underneath the slider! So clever!

Tammy‘s Pull ‘n Slide Surprise design is filled with farm cuteness with Build-A-Barn and the cute farm animals from Simply Celebrate More Critters! She also added a cute cow and chicken from Hay There, Hayrides!

When the lucky recipient pulls the slider, the barn pop-up revealing a punny birthday greeting and a surprise gift card!

This cute design features layers of Bitsy Blooms Petite papers with Heart Tree and a mouse from It’s a Bird!

The Heart Tree looks so great as the slider pops up! And the cute friendship sentiment from Magic Messages is revealed underneath!

Latisha‘s beautiful interactive card features mostly dies, all but the sentiment from Backyard Bird Feeder! For the die-cut design, she combined Tree Branches Backdrop: Portrait, Stitched Flower Frame and sweet birds from Build-A-Bird Feeder! And she used coordinating papers from What’s Sewing On for some pretty detail.

I love how the birds, leaves and flower extend over the top when the slide is pulled up! Latisha tucked a gift card under the slider for a nice surprise!

  15. I really like the bird feeder so that would be one I would love to use with this feature. I have an anniversary coming up so possibly need to use something that would work well for a card for my husband. I will have to think on this.

  16. I would love to use it to make a scene with my Fairy Friends/Frosted Fairy Friends sets! I have a niece that loves fairies and she would be so delighted by this!

  29. I love that we have a new interactive card die! I think a lot of the Christmas sets would be so fun with this die!

  30. I envision underwater themes, mermaids, seashells, etc. Critters playing hide and seek. Limitless possibilities.

  31. I can see myself using any of the mice sets, and the simply critters. Both look great with the mechanism.

  32. The possibilities for the pull and slide die are endless. I am so excited about this die. I will use it with the whoosh, kites or just plane awesome stamps. That way when you pull the tab, it’ll look like the planes and kites are up in the air

  33. I will use the yappy birthday, sweet spiders and fantastic friends…. Will be so adorable with a hanging bat surprise. It will be cute with the scarecrows as well!

  34. I love all the sets, so I guess I would use all of them, if I had them. Every one of the project ideas were so stinkin’ cute! Great job everyone!

  35. I have so many LF sets to experiment with using the new interactive die! I wonder how it would work with the Before n Afters! 🤔 Anyway, birthday cards and any occasion that entailed a gift card surprise would be fun to make.

  40. I’m thinking the apple tree with the mice would be a great place to start with this new interactive die. Love all the possibilities. So cute.

  41. I am in love with the two panda sets I just got. Not sure in which context they’ll slide up to reveal, yet, but looking forward to giving it a go! Oooo. And I also have a road runner. Hmmmm. And an axolotl. Hmmm. Maybe my salamander, first….

  42. PULL N SLIDE ANOTHER FUN INTERACTIVE TO USE WITH ALL LAWN FAWN SETS! DEFINITELY THE LITTLE WOODLAND LIBRARY!

  43. I am a fan of any of the mice sets and I LOVE mixing and matching them and I can already imagine so many ways that they will be able to feature on this. Oh my goodness! This is such a fun card idea!

  44. One of my daughter’s teachers is having a baby so I’d probably use the rub a dub dub set with it. Put in a gift card to buy baby things.

  45. I want to try it with the So Owlsome set for graduation cards and the Holiday Helpers and Joy to All for Christmas cards! This one looks so fun 😀

  46. I’m really excited about the bird feeder set. I would use that one first. The mice picking strawberries second.

  47. I think I would try and do a fiesta birthday card with the Lawn Fawn pinata, the taco, the avocado and balloons. We celebrate Fiesta here in San Antonio in April with parades and parties and great food!

  49. Lots of possibilities- but thinking spring & rain, so the set with the bears playing in the rain. Beary Rainy Day?

  50. Wow… that is a tough question b/c so many could work. Critters in the Arctic or various penguin sets would be good – then the underneath layer could be inside the igloo LOL. Or the same concept for the bears’ den. There are so, so many that would work great — ANYTHING with mice! We could get an inside-the-mousehole look into their lives.

Thanks for sharing all these great ideas. This new set looks AMAZING!

  51. Love this new interactive die! I would love to use it with Yappy Birthday, but it would work so well with so many sets!

  53. Fantastic interactive. I wouldn’t want to limit myself to just one set, but I would probably use it most for birthdays, celebrations, and holidays.

  54. Oh I love this! I’d use my build a house or build a castle with this and create a fun scene like the barn!

  55. Maybe animal habitats where you look inside. Bamboo outside inside panda. Forest cave, inside wolf or bear den etc.

  56. I think I would try to combine this interactive die with Sprinkled with Joy and Forest Feast to create a fun Thanksgiving card.

  57. So many ideas floating around in my head! Think I would use the Berry Special set with all the strawberries – or maybe Gleeful Gardens for a cute garden scene – and even Rub-a-Dub-Dub would be fun – and how about Build-a-Drink Blender dies and fruit.

  58. Such cute cards!!! I would love to make an underwater sea using some of Lawn Fawn’s super cute sets with this die.

  59. I think the bears den with an outside scence like the bears in the rain and then pull up and they are all snuggly inside would be cute.

  69. I’ve got Hello Baby and Dandy Day…I can imagine using either, or both, on a fun card with the pull and slide set.

  70. It was great seeing the Simply Celebrate stamps in these projects! I’d love to use the Pull-n-Slide Surprise Dies with the Pawsome Birthday dog stamp sets; they’re some of my favorites.

  71. Love this interactive die! There are so many possibilities of cards to make. Definitely birthday and Christmas gift cards. Can’t wait to get this die!

  72. I think the pull n slide would be great with any of the mice dies but the snowball fight would be awesome.

Set would be cute or even the dandelion blooms would be cute to use with this interactive die!

  84. This is so versatile. You could really use any of the set. I am already imagining the outback with little roos hopping around or a fun spring park with mice having a great day

  85. The Pull N Slide Surprise set looks super versatile. I love the examples showing it used as a gift card holder; these are such cute ideas. 91. I love the idea of putting a giftcard behind the mechanism! The die is so versatile, I can see it be used with so many sets. But putting any image on an acetate strip so it float in the air once the tab is pulled is what comes to my mind first, so it must be some kind of plane or rocket or even birds for my first Pull’n’Slide Surprise Card then…
