Franci’s Simply Adorable Wood You Be Mine? Card

It’s just two weeks to Valentine’s Day and Franci has some sweet inspiration for you!

Franci started this cheery design by stenciling Birch Trees on a white Stitched Rectangle panel. She used Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to create a soft and subtle pattern. Then she stamped, colored and die cut the Wood You Be Mine? beavers and log. She arranged them on the panel, then stamped the sentiment below.

I love how she used the yellow Flower Market paper for the card base. It makes a pretty background for the cute scene.

Thank you so much for this adorable inspiration, Franci!

Samantha’s Stenciled Wood You Be Mine? Card

Samantha is back with another whimsical design to inspire your cardmaking! Her Wood You Be Mine? card has a fun stenciled background!

For this cute woodland scene, Samantha started by stenciling birch trees on pretty Knit Picky Winter paper. The Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink lets allows the pretty texture paper to show through.

Then she assembled a happy scene with the Wood You Be Mine? beavers, logs and cattails. She created the river with Stitched Simple Wavy Borders and the riverbank with Mushroom Border!

Thank you so much for this delightful inspiration, Samantha!

Franci stamped and colored the sledding image in muted tones to add to the scene. Then she layered scene to a panel of Knit Picky Winter paper as the perfect border!

I love this sweet design, Franci! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!
