Karin’s Beautiful Card Design for All Occasions

Karin joins us today with a beautifully versatile card design that’s perfect for lots of occasions. She combined florals from a bunch of Lawn Cuts sets to create lovely arrangements. She suggests making multiples to have on hand as occasions come up. Just add a sentiment and it’s ready to go!

Karin’s design starts with a backdrop of Woodgrain cardstock. Then she cut a pretty Lacy Border as an overlay. Next, she combined flowers from Spring Flowers Backdrop, Stitched Strawberry Frame, Tropical Leaves Backdrop, and Stitched Poinsettia arranging them in a pretty design.

She used soft pastel colors for the flowers. Then she added the bow from Build-A-Barrel Apple in shiny gold metallic cardstock.

Another fun suggestion is to die cut numbers for a birthday card. Here, Karin added shiny gold numbers from Finley’s 123s. For this portrait card, she used a pretty Stitched Scalloped Border.

I love this beautiful card design, Karin! Thank you so much for this lovely inspiration!

Grace’s Christmas Candy Card and Tags

Be sure to check out this fun All My Heart stamp set! It’s our Free Gift with orders over $60 exclusively at lawnfawn.com only until 12/28 or while supplies last.

Grace joins us today with another brilliant project to inspire us!

She has done it again, creating an adorable card and tag set! Her theme is Christmas candy and the pastel colors she chose are so sweet!

For the card, she combined Gingerbread Friends, Snow Globe Gift Tag and Stitched Cupcake as the super sweet trio! In the snow globe she created a shaker filled with confetti dots and peppermint candy dots. To create lots of colorful sparkle, she die-cut the gumdrops from Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock and added the color with Distress Oxide inks. Happy color fills the background with the help of the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop.

She added wonderful details like the vellum lacy oval from Giant Easter Messages Lawn Cuts and the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame. Other details Grace included are the tiny gingerbread man, gumdrops and candy canes from Build-A-House Gingerbread Add-On. There are also candies from Woodland Critter Huggers Bat Add-On.

As the final touch, she added the Winter Big Scripty Words Hot Foil Plates greeting on a Fancy Wavy Banner!

Grace used 4cm. plastic fillable ornaments to create her cute gumball machine tag! She started with a Snow Globe Gift Tag, adding fun “candy” to fill the globe! I love her creativity to use the tag hanger upside down to resemble the gumball machine dispenser. So clever!

To finish the tags, Grace stamped messages from Say What? Christmas Critters in Lobster and Peacock ink. Then she tied on a length of Peppermint cord!

Thank you much for sharing your adorable creativity with us, Grace!
