Mimi’s Cute Interactive Gumball Machine Card

Please join us June 7th, 2024 at 4:00PM PT / 7:00PM ET on YouTube Live!

Save the date for our next fun Create with Us! In this class hosted by Kelly and Jenn, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring Treat Cart. You can follow along (click HERE for all the details), or just pop in to say hi! on YouTube Live. We hope to see you there!

Mimi joins us today to inspire us with her adorable Build-A-Gumball Machine card! It’s a double interactive card featuring a shaker and Reveal Wheel, so fun!

Mimi cut the gumball machine base 3 times from 110 lb. white cardstock to build up layers for the shaker in the globe. She sandwiched an acetate piece between the 1st and second layer to create the shaker filled with gumballs. And then she colored the pieces of the machine with Distress Oxide ink in Kitsch Flamingo and cut the detail pieces from silver metallic cardstock.

For the Reveal Wheel she adjusted die cut to fit with the gumball dispenser. She colored the wheel piece with a gray marker before adding the gumballs. Then she assembled everything, using a Small Mini Slimline rectangle to ground the little scene and to stamp the sentiment from Sweet Smiles!

I love how Mimi stacked the cute Treat Cart critters so they can reach the coin slot! The coins are so cute in gold metallic cardstock!

This card is so much fun and so clever! Thank you for sharing with us today, Mimi!

Thanks so much for visiting, have an amazing day!

Happy Sunday! Karin has a beautiful birthday card to share today! She combined Build-A-Gumball Machine, Henry’s ABCs and Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait.

Karin used this tall Scalloped Slimline card base to stack the bold greeting above the Build-A-Gumball Machine! I love the beautiful soft, vintage style colors she used for the gumball machine and the gumballs. For the background, Karin stenciled with Starry Sky Stencil.

Karin added a cute birthday greeting from Hay There, Hayrides. She stamped it in Doe Ink on banner from Window Scene: Spring Lawn Cuts.

I love this sweet birthday card, Karin! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!

Elena‘s Build-A-Gumball Machine is so bright and shiny! She made it a shaker using the colorful gumballs with seed beads to fill globe! I love how she framed her simple design with Rainbow Ever After Jack 12 x 12 paper. And then she finished the card with the perfect punny sentiment from Wood You Be Mine!

Elise‘s fabulous design combines All the Smiles with Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime and a greeting from Give It a Whirl Messages: Friends! The colorful balloons with the cute smiling faces make this card so charming!

I love Audrey‘s sweet pastel Build-A-Gumball Machine! She layered the pretty pink gumball machine on a Radiant Heart Backdrop, then she added adorable Bubbles of Joy mice!

Mindy also made a shaker card with the Build-A-Gumball Machine! She used Peacock, Mermaid and Silver Metallic cardstock for the machine, filling it with colorful confetti! Then she brought in lots of cuteness with mice from Sew Very Mice and You Autumn Know. Her sweet sentiment is from Sweet Smiles!

Latisha‘s amazing birthday card focuses on the balloons in the new All the Smiles set! She combined the balloons with Giant Make a Wish and the new Bunting Background Stencils to create a very cheerful design!

Marine used bright, happy colors for her gumball machine shaker card! She layered a rainbow striped Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime panel with an Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Background Hot Foil panel before adding the gumball machine on top! I love that she colored the Offset Sayings: Birthday greeting in colors to match, it’s so cheery!

Grace created an amazing shaker card with so many gorgeous colors! She stenciled the background with the new Draped Ribbons Stencil, then she added lots of cuteness with critters from Really High Five and Butterfly Kisses!

Grace filled her shaker with pastel gumballs and Chunky Glitter to make her card “extra sweet”!

Rebecca’s gumballs are so adorable stamped with All the Smiles! She mixed pretty Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime papers for the background and then she added fun detail with a Diagonal Stripes Border!
