Jenn’s Wicked Awesome Glow-in-the-dark Halloween Card

Jenn joins us today to share her adorable Purrfectly Wicked Halloween card! It’s a glow-in-the-dark stunner!

Jenn’s epic scene combines Purrfectly Wicked and Purrfectly Wicked Add-On with Tiny Halloween, Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters and Happy Howloween! She used a Circle Stackable for that awesome moon and added a Spooky Fence Border in the background.

To make those “wicked” letters glow, Jenn first inked up Distress Heavyweight cardstock with Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks. Then she spread a thin layer of Glow-in-the-Dark Stencil Paste over the top. Once it dried, she cut the letters using Finley’s ABCs!

The Purrfectly Wicked cats look just like Jenn’s own trio of felines! Gus is adorable in the tutu from Happy Howloween!

As a sparkly finishing touch, Jenn used Prisma glitter to add highlights and details to some of the images!

Thanks so much for this super fun inspiration, Jenn!

Jenn has some new online classes coming up and they look like so much fun! To get all the details please click HERE.

Lawn Fawn Video {10.22.20} Chari’s Spooky Castle

Chari shares our video today with fun Halloween inspiration! She created a spooky castle featuring Build-A-Castle! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Chari created her slimline Halloween design with an amazing inked and stenciled background! She used Distress Oxide ink in Wild Honey, Crackling Campfire and Seedless Preserves to blend the spooky sky, then she used regular Distress Ink to add the cloudy stenciling.

She gave the Build-A-Castle a super cool look with the Brick Stencil and some black glitter gel! Another fun component is the Glow-in-the-Dark embossing on the moon!

Chari combined images from Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On, Build-A-House Halloween Add-On to add spooky elements to the castle. She used sentiment from Pick of the Patch, pumpkins from Happy Harvest and tombstones from Spooktacular.

Thank you so much, Chari! This spooky Halloween inspiration is so much fun!

Franci’s Spooky Glow-in-the Dark Halloween House!

Franci is sharing her amazing spooky Halloween house with glow-in-the-dark ghosts, moon and stars! She made her house super-sized then added it to a picture frame as wall art! There’s a surprise when you turn off the lights!

Franci did some partial die-cutting to create a taller house but she says you could also just cut two Build-A-House main shapes and combine the two. To give her house more detail she used Distress ink to add some shading. She also used Distress ink to create that awesome night sky!

Franci decorated her haunted house using Halloween Add-On bats, cobwebs and spiders. She also added some grassy weeds and dirt from the Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On; this spooky house has definitely seen better days!
To create the glow in the dark elements, Franci first added clear embossing ink to a panel of white cardstock, then sprinkled on the Glow-in-the-Dark embossing powder and heat set it. Once cooled the ghosts were cut using the dies in the Build-A-House Halloween Add-On set along with the stars and moon.

When the lights go out this beautiful picture becomes a spooky Halloween decoration with glowing ghosties!

Franci added white gel pen highlights to the die cuts then assembled the house with Glue Tube and foam squares then mounted the house to the background with foam tape. I love how the elements overlap the beveled photo mat! Such a fun detail!

Thank you so much, Franci, for sharing your amazing Halloween project with us today!
