Elena’s Tropi-cool Popsicle Party

It’s a new month and time for another awesome party idea with Elena! Her popsicle themed party decor is the tropi-coolest!

First of all, I think the cool blues and hot pink are such a fun and trendy color combo! This theme is perfect for a pool party for guests of any age!

Elena spelled out the party theme in Oliver’s Stitched ABCs on an inked Tropical Leaves Backdrop sign. The letters have a pretty ombré look from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper in Rose Quartz!

These favor boxes are showstoppers! To make them look like popsicles, Elena used the Fancy Box die. She cut a slit in the end to slip in a popsicle stick! She added strips cut from Slide on Over, trimming off one of the rounded ends to mimic the detail on a popsicle.

Elena used I Scream, You Scream to create the cleverest cupcake toppers! She cut the popsicles from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper and inked the edges for dimension!

I love that Elena designed her own tropical cupcake wrappers! Starting with white cardstock, she inked the Stitched Scalloped Cupcake Wrapper using Tropical Leaves Background Stencils!

She finished the toppers with leaves and tiny hibiscus flowers from the Tropical Leaves Backdrop on the popsicle sticks.

She continued the stencil look from the cupcake wrappers to the drink labels; adding a single tropical leaf to each one!

The stenciling continued on the Stitched Party Banners! She layered more pink popsicles over the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On before stringing the banners together with Orchid cord!

This is such a cool party idea, Elena! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing creativity!

Mini Box Dioramas with Grace Featuring A Creature Was Stirring!

Grace has a special project to share with you today! She created 3 mini dioramas using our Fancy Box die set! These light-hearted little scenes feature mice from A Creature Was Stirring, Crazy Antics and You’re Just My Type!

To decorate the outside of these amazing little boxes, Grace created shaker elements! She combined Stitched Scalloped Circle Frames with For You from the new Shutter Card Add-On set. She filled the shakers with Chunky Glitter for lots of sparkle to complement the Let It Shine papers!

Grace die cut 2 Fancy Boxes for each diorama; one she used to create the box. She used the other one as the cover from which she removed the side flaps. She decorated the inside of the box as a background for the scene and cut a rectangle window from the lid. To help build dimension for the scene inside the box, Grace made cardstock spacers using the measurements in the photo above.

Once she built the tiny scenes inside the assembled boxes she added a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame to coordinate with the Let It Shine paper she used to make the box. For this one she combined Cream Sprinkle ‘n Shine with creamy shimmer cardstock.

To add even more shine, Grace embossed the Christmas greeting from Shutter Card Holiday Sayings with pretty gold embossing powder!

Grace used layers of foam adhesive and the cardstock spacers to fill these little dioramas with lots of action! The cute little mice are stirring up some yummy Christmas treats!

Grace filled in the scenes with fun images from Baked with Love!

Each little scene is a mini masterpiece! These definitely qualify as “keepers” to be cherished by the recipient and displayed for years to come!

These mini gems are the perfect size to tuck in a loved one’s Christmas stocking!

Thanks so much for sharing this clever and creative project with us today, Grace! Your Fancy Box mini dioramas are so amazing!
