Jessica’s Charming Silhouette Card

Happy Monday! Today we welcome Jessica Frost-Ballas, as another of our new contributors to the Lawn Fawn blog! She shares a super clever silhouette card to inspire you!

Jessica created this amazing sunset scene with a gorgeous ink blended background and a glittery black Tropical Backdrop! Stitched Wave Borders, die cut from Black Licorice cardstock add more detail to this extraordinary beach scene.

The cute cat coordinating die from Keep on Swimming was used to make these fun mirror image kitties canoodling while watching the beautiful sunset! Jessica flipped one of the die cuts, smoothing out the edges with a bone folder, to allow the kitty tails to intertwine! So charming! The sweet sentiment is white embossed using Critter Chatter: Pets and Say What? Pets!

Thanks so much for inspiring us today, Jessica! I love your gorgeous card!

First Saturday with Megan {6.1.19} A Whimsical Aquarium Card!

It’s time for another Lawn Fawn day at Stamp Fever in Orange, CA! Mark your calendars, we will be there on Saturday, June 22 from 10AM – 3PM! We’ll be making a super fun, interactive (and free!) make-and-take featuring these 2019 Summer release products: Smooth Sailing, Center Picture Window Card, and Center Picture Window Card Add-On. It’s June 1st and that means we have some amazing inspiration from Megan! I think you will love her fun and whimsical aquarium Magic Picture Changer card! As always, Megan combined a bunch of fun sets so be sure to check out the full supply list below!

I just love the sweet little cat from Keep on Swimming checking out all the fun aquatic animals! And how clever is the Meow You Doin’? kitty using the fishbowl to do some diving! She used the Reveal Wheel Keep on Swimming Add-On to create the cut out window in the fishbowl and layered it with clear acetate!

When the picture changes the darling little fish puffs up and the clam shell opens to reveal not only a pretty pearl but a cute sentiment as well!
