Hello and welcome to the second post of Lawn Fawn’s June inspiration week! We are just so excited about this week! We are featuring three stamp sets, and we will have fun posts and giveaways and lots of inspiration!
Today is our showcase of “Schoolhouse Backdrops”. This 4″ x 6″ set is perfect for creating backgrounds and texture! The design team has made the most amazing samples! I also have a little video on the bottom showcasing some fun ways of using the set!
Remember to click on the person’s name or card to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! ๐
Chan‘s card is too sweet! I love her crumpled up notebook paper using Sophie’s Sentiments and Hello Friend as doodles! This is a great design that can be used with any sentiment!
Lea‘s teacher card is just adorable! I love her notebook paper she created, and I love the way she “flagged” the end of the cursive writing stamp! She combined Sophie’s Sentiments and Smitty’s ABCs for the perfect sentiment!
Tiffany‘s flowers are just too cool! The tone on tone ledger gives them the most fun look! The cursive writing stamp going around the flower holder with the Quinn’s ABCs sentiment is the perfect touch!
Nichol‘s card is the sweetest! I adore her tone on tone ledger background and tone on tone notebook paper backgrounds on her die cuts. It creates the perfect amount of texture for her sweet On the Mend card. Isn’t that ribbon just perfect, too?!
Teri‘s card is such a cute graduation card! And how perfect is that twine and paper clip for adding the gift! Love it! The cursive writing stamp mixed with Smitty’s ABCs for a custom sentiment and My Silly Valentine’s apple make a perfect grad card!
Julie‘s card is so sweet! I love the way she stamped the dotted line in red and the others in blue! Perfect! I also love the gift card holder on the front. Brilliant! The sentiment from Sophie’s is a great touch!
Lynnette has created the most perfect Dad card! These lines are great for masculine cards. I love the vertical stripes she created and the cursive lines are perfect for those grid letter stickers. Harold’s ABCs provides the perfect custom sentiment!
Latisha‘s card is so sweet! I love how the notebook paper lines are the star of the show! I also love the way she fit the My Silly Valentine sentiment on the actual lines. Those apples are just the sweetest, too!
Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!
Now, I have a little video for you showing this set in action and some fun things you can do with it. I hope you enjoy it! Watch it below or at our You Tube channel.

Lynnette‘s card is so cute! I love the scene she created with Bon Voyage, Critters in the ‘Burbs and, of course, the turtle from On the Mend!
Latisha‘s card is the sweetest! I love the band-aid background and the fun gem circles! The coloring on the smiling flowers is awesome!
Julie‘s card is so fun! I love the vintage feel and the little blush she added to the soup’s cheeks! I also love the layout of the card. A go to layout for sure!
Nichol‘s card is so cute! Those googly eyes are the best. I also love the tone on tone background she has created using Petite Florals! Gorgeous and perfect for any card!
Tiffany‘s card is so much fun! I love the staples and that cute tag with the sentiment stamped tall instead of long. The band-aid coloring is perfect, too!
Lea‘s card is so pretty. She didn’t stamp the smiley part of the tissue box for a more serious feel. The balled up tissues is just such a good idea, too! Teeny Tiny Backdrops has provided the perfect background for her fun die cut shapes.
Chan‘s project is a little pocket to hold Nyquil packets! This would also be perfect for soup or tea packets, too! I love her white border around the cut out turtle. It makes it stand out perfectly!
Teri‘s card is so sweet! I love the fun googly eyes on the soup and tissue box! The hearts from Teeny Tiny Backdrops are perfect for an “I’m here for you” card, too!

Hi, everyone! There’s a bug going around LFHQ, and I haven’t been feeling too well which equals no crafty time. Major sad face.
The good thing: Nichol Magouirk has an amazing Scrapbook Stamping class going on a Two Peas. There is a video, too!
