Jessica used hot foil and glittery gold to create a stunning card to welcome the new year!

Jessica created an amazing sunset sky with shades of black, blue, purple and orange and it looks so great as the backdrop for the shiny fireworks. Then she used Fireworks Hot Foil Plates to foil the fireworks with gold, silver and rainbow, cutting them out with the coordinating dies. She did some more foiling with Foiled Sentiments: Happy New Year. The shiny gold foiled sentiment looks amazing on the black background.

Jessica arranged all the fireworks around the sentiment, adding a strip of gold sparkle cardstock. Then she added the new year with more glittery gold using Oliver’s Stitched 123s, layering the numbers on a Simple Stitched Tree Border.

Thank you so much for sharing this stunning new year design, Jessica!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.2.24} Caly’s New Year Celebration Card

Caly created an amazing card to celebrate the new year! She used lots of hot foil and cute critters from Really High Five! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Caly began this fantastic card by hot foiling the Cloud Background on Moonstone cardstock. Next, she blended Forget-Me-Not and Blue Jay ink on the background to create wonderful shading and dimension.

Then Caly hot foiled the Fireworks with rainbow foil and cut them out with the coordinating dies. She stamped all the cute images from Really High Five and colored them with Copic markers:
Fox: E000, E30, E11, E13, E15
Mouse: W0, W2, W4, W6
Bunny: E41, E42, E43
Blush: R30, R22
Pink Balloon: RV10, RV11, RV13
Blue Balloon: B000, B01, B02
Teal Balloon: BG10, BG11, BG13

And then she arranged all the critters and balloons with the Winter Wavy Sayings sentiment and Oliver’s Stitched 123s.

This card is so fun and so festive! Thank you for this wonderful inspiration, Caly!
