A Beautiful Winter Scene with Grace!

The recent devastation from Hurricane Helene has left many in need of loving community support. We have an amazing opportunity for you to help those in need! Kelly, Jenn, and Chari are hosting an exclusive virtual class January 9th at 3pm PT! This class will feature two cards designed with lots of love using new Valentine’s Day goodies as well as some past favorites. Your purchase of $15 will reserve your spot for this exclusive class and support a wonderful charity at the same time! Grace joins us today with a beautiful winter scene right out of a Hallmark holiday movie! The cute Mice on Ice and all the Treat Cart critters are gathered together in a charming slimline scene.

Grace began with a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait as the base of her design. Then she cut another panel to fit within the stitched frame. She inked the sky with Blue Jay ink, dotting the sky with gel pen snowflakes. Then she stamped and cut out Over the Mountain Borders tree line twice. On one she also die-cut one of the Stitched Dens to create a skating pond for the Mice on Ice!

Grace filled in the snowy scene with trees from Merry Mice using one to cover the seam where the two Over the Mountain Borders meet. Then she added all the holiday fun with Treat Cart and Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee! I love how she strung the Christmas lights across the trees and the coffee cart.

Then she added the Mice on Ice to the pond, adding to cute lampposts from Winter Village! Finally, she embossed the sentiment in white on a red Stitched Sentiment Banner, layering it on another banner in Candy Cane Lane paper.

I love this card so much, Grace! Thank you so much for this beautiful inspiration!

Happy Sunday! Karin has a beautiful birthday card to share today! She combined Build-A-Gumball Machine, Henry’s ABCs and Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait.

Karin used this tall Scalloped Slimline card base to stack the bold greeting above the Build-A-Gumball Machine! I love the beautiful soft, vintage style colors she used for the gumball machine and the gumballs. For the background, Karin stenciled with Starry Sky Stencil.

Karin added a cute birthday greeting from Hay There, Hayrides. She stamped it in Doe Ink on banner from Window Scene: Spring Lawn Cuts.

I love this sweet birthday card, Karin! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!

The cute cats of Meow You Doin? and Pool Party are having a fun day at the beach! Samantha also used On the Beach and Life is Good to create this happy summer scene!

Samantha used alcohol inks on Yupo to create the beautiful sand and surf! She cut the colorful pieces into Scalloped Slimline with Hearts panels before cutting them again with Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders. She added an additional wave layer in vellum for even more variety.

Thank you so much, Samantha for sharing this fantastic inspiration!
