Lawn Fawn Video {11.3.22} Kara’s Clever Advent Calendar with Ugly and Bright!

Kara’s design is a gift in a card! To make this fun interactive card she used thin magnetic sheets. She cut out the sweater shapes and the reindeer with the Ugly and Bright coordinating dies.

Kara stamped 25 sweaters with Celebration Countdown numbers embossing them with Lawn Fawn Black Embossing Powder. Then she created a fun “tie-dyed look for the sweaters! She used Kiddie Pool, Rainforest and Sugarplum ink with the ink smooshing technique!

The sweaters coordinate with the Sugarplum, Peacock and Mermaid cardstock she used Simple Stripes Landscape background. She attached the sweaters to the magnetic backing and then secured them to the card with glue dots.

Then Kara used a speech bubble from Open Me for writing out the instructions to use the interactive advent calendar.

Lawn Fawn Video {6.28.22} Marine’s Pool Party Shaker Card

The busy bees at Lawn Fawn HQ have a really fun surprise for you! Meet us right here at the blog tomorrow June 29th at 10:00AM Pacific Time for the big reveal!

Marine is with us today to share a remake of her Pool Party card from Inspiration Week! This time she will make a slimline shaker card with the sun-loving critters! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Marine used her Inspiration Week design with Stitched Pond to inspire her adorable slimline Pool Party card! But for this version she used Stitched Rectangle Frames to make a rectangle shaped pool. And she also used All the Dots paper to create the fun design for the pool floor.

As in her original design, Marine created a woodgrain pool deck with Simple Stripes: Landscape.

Marine used bright summer colors for the towels, hibiscus and pool floats! They say “summer” loud and clear! The Really High Five bunny looks so happy making a cannonball splash.

Adding cute detail to this fun composition are the tropical drink and sunscreen from the On the Beach set.

Lawn Fawn Video {1.11.22} Marine’s Shaker Valentine Card

Hello friends! Marine is back with another shaker card to inspire you! This time she creates a “love potion” themed Valentine card using Scent with Love! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Marine’s fun “love-potion” theme came together with a combination of Scent With Love and Purrfectly Wicked! She also used a sentiment from Science of Love!

She worked her magic to create another spectacular background! This time combining Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait and Simple Stripes: Landscape! The purple and red colors are so striking!

To make the shaker element, Marine used How You Bean? with the Shaker Add-On. She filled the window with a mix of hearts and googly eyes to match the theme!
