Jessica’s “Tiny Birthday Friends” Card Set

Be sure to save the date for our Fall/Winter 2021 Release! Inspiration and Release Week starts on September 8 with our Big Giveaway Post! We will share Design Team inspiration, Intro Videos and have daily giveaways leading up to Release Day on September 16! We are so excited to share all the fun new products in this release! See you then!

Jessica Spencer is back with a great idea for making a unique set of birthday cards!

Jessica took her color cues from our Watercolor Wishes Rainbow papers, using them to die cut the Giant Happy Birthday! Then she used coordinating colors of Spiffy Speckles papers on each monochromatic design! She cut a second Giant Happy Birthday from Black Licorice cardstock as a shadow so the greeting stands out!

Those adorable Tiny Birthday Friends look like they belong in a 50s TV series! Jessica used Toner Gray Copic markers (T1, T3, T5), to color the little images so they have that old classic television look!

Jessica used the Snowy Sky Stencil to add some interest to the background with sparkle embossing paste. To finish her card set, she added a sentiment from Simply Celebrate, and then sprinkled some color coordinated sequins on the cards!

Thanks so much for sharing this clever card set with us today, Jessica!

Jessica’s Colorful Simply Celebrate Cards!

Jessica is back with us today with a beautiful rainbow of cards made using Simply Celebrate with Really Rainbow papers!

Jessica made 2 different looks with one beautiful card design! For this card she die cut Really Rainbow paper and Woodgrain cardstock using Dotted Rectangle Stackables and layered them on a kraft card-base. She used Copic markers to color the balloons in rich rainbow colors! The sentiment from Simply Celebrate makes a bold statement white heat-embossed on Black Licorice cardstock!

For this version, Jessica swapped out the Woodgrain cardstock for a vellum panel with the sentiment stamped directly on the vellum. This allows the pretty paper to show through! She added some Gold Sparkle twine and sequins too!

With their simple greeting and fun colors, Jessica’s card set is perfect to have on hand for birthdays and lots of happy occasions!

Thank you so much Jessica for inspiring us today!
