A Trio of Sweet How You Bean? Cards with Grace

Grace has filled our How You Bean? mason jars with sweet treats to spark your Valentine creativity!

For this super cute slimline card, Grace filled the jars with jelly beans from the original How You Bean? set and candies from Conversation Heart Add-On. She used the How You Bean? Shaker Add-On to create the shakers!

For the chocolate “kisses”, Grace stamped the whipped cream from Thanks a Latte and colored them in yummy cocoa colors!

This “milkshake” shaker looks so delicious! For the frothy whipped cream on the top, Grace used the frosting from Stitched Cupcake and she added sprinkles and the ice cream drips from I Scream, You Scream!

This card is designed with a wonderful backdrop of Just Stitching Hearts and a greeting white embossed on a Simple Wavy Banner! The sparkly Scripty Smile completes this oh so yummy Valentine!

Grace is sending hugs and kisses with this clever shaker design! This time she die cut the dollops of whipped cream from Thanks A Latte with Holographic cardstock to look like the wrappers on those famous kisses candies. She even used Pearlescent Vellum to add the tiny flags to the candies. The adorable Snow Much Fun bears are ready to share some hugs!

Grace’s amazing set of cards are fun inspiration for using one set to make different designs! Check through your stash to find all the little details that will make your designs over-the-top special!

Thank you so much for sharing these clever designs, Grace! I’m sure they will spark lots of creative ideas!

Lawn Fawn Video {10.27.20} Kara’s Cute Fall Coffee-themed Shutter Card

Today we have Kara with us to share a fun coffee inspired Shutter Card design! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Kara’s Shutter Card let’s you know right away that the theme is cute critters and coffee! I love how she stamped the Den Sweet Den bears on the Outside In Stitched Mug!

Kara was inspired by the Into the Woods Remix papers for the warm palette she used to color all the images! She added the pretty leaves and vines from Acorn House in coordinating colors of cardstock.

To mix things up a bit, she flipped the Shutter Card upside down. With the window on the bottom, she placed the beautifully colored Thanks a Latte mugs at the top of the card!

Kara created the sweet sentiment inside the shutter window by selectively stamping words from Ocean Shell-fie and Thanks a Latte! This gorgeous design warms my heart, like a cup of hot chocolate!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Kara! Your coloring is always so inspiring!

A Chalkboard Card Set with Grace

Grace joins us today to share a creative card set with a chalkboard design!

Grace covered Bristol smooth cardstock with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, then she sprinkled the panels with water to bring out the oxide. To frame each chalkboard she used 6×6 papers from Let It Shine and Really Rainbow that she die cut with Stitched Rectangle Frames.

For the get well card, Grace has the cute A Creature Was Stirring mice cooking up some yummy soup! For all of the designs, she stamped the images and sentiments with clear embossing ink and then white heat-embossed them! She used colored pencils to color the images leaving the strokes unblended to look like chalk drawings. So clever!

The holiday card features the cute mice again with the hot beverages from Thanks a Latte! The red and white stripes add the perfect festive frame!

The mice are back whipping up a delicious birthday cake from Birthday Before ‘n Afters! Grace stamped out “happy” using Quinn’s Capital ABCs. I love how she colored them in rainbow colors to match the Really Rainbow frame! She added a Fancy Wavy Banner to frame the sentiment that is white embossed directly on the card panel.

Thank you so much for bringing back the chalkboard look, Grace! Your creative card set is so inspiring!
