Jessica Spencer is back with a great idea for making a unique set of birthday cards!
Jessica took her color cues from our Watercolor Wishes Rainbow papers, using them to die cut the Giant Happy Birthday! Then she used coordinating colors of Spiffy Speckles papers on each monochromatic design! She cut a second Giant Happy Birthday from Black Licorice cardstock as a shadow so the greeting stands out!
Those adorable Tiny Birthday Friends look like they belong in a 50s TV series! Jessica used Toner Gray Copic markers (T1, T3, T5), to color the little images so they have that old classic television look!
Jessica used the Snowy Sky Stencil to add some interest to the background with sparkle embossing paste. To finish her card set, she added a sentiment from Simply Celebrate, and then sprinkled some color coordinated sequins on the cards!
Thanks so much for sharing this clever card set with us today, Jessica!
It’s the last day to take advantage of our Summer Sale! Use code SUMMER21 to get 15% off your order until midnight tonight (Pacific Time).
Our friend and Inspiration Team member, Mona joins us today to share beautiful shaker birthday card! She will show how to keep it simple or amp up the cute using the same design! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for watching!
Mona packed lots of fantastic details into this beautiful birthday card! In her video, she shows how she designed the not-so-basic shaker card before taking it totally to cuteness by adding all the Tiny Birthday Friends!
Mona ink blended the background in rainbow shades of Distress Oxide ink, before she used Confetti Stencils to add festive detail! To create the shaker element, she used the oval die from the Giant Birthday Messages coordinating die set. Then she gold embossed the Giant Birthday Message on a panel of vellum that covers the opening.
I love this super cute birthday card, Mona! Thank you for sharing this happy design with us today!
