First Saturday with Megan {8.7.21} A Back to School Center Picture Window Card

We invite you to join us for a fun week of inspiration with our Design Team August 9 -13! Our talented designers will be sharing their All-Time favorite stamps, dies and papers with some amazing inspiration! We will have daily giveaways too, you won’t want to miss it!

It’s time for back to school and Megan created an adorable Center Picture Window card that captures all the happy vibes!

This cute mini card features the schoolhouse, bus and flag pole from Village Heroes! Megan framed the little scene with the stitched oval from the Center Picture Window die set. And then she added the sentiment from Love Poems on a vellum Simple Wavy Banner!

When you open the card, you see the charming school room! Starting from the floor up, Megan added lots of fun details! She used a die from Swish ‘n Pop Pull-Tab to create the “planks” for the floor. That is “thinking outside the box” creativity! And she used the Stitched Rectangle Frame for the chalkboard!

Our little Screen Time boy is ready to learn at a desk from Virtual Friends, chair from Virtual Friends Add-On and an apple from So Owlsome! Megan added the “back to school” and some accessories from Plan On It: School too! Megan shortened the legs of the desk, hiding the fix behind the Den Sweet Den book stacks!

I absolutely love this delightful design! Thank you for sharing with us today, Megan!

Lawn Fawn Video {6.3.21} Kara’s “Thank the School Bus Driver” Card

It’s the end of the school year! Yay! It’s the perfect time to thank the school bus driver who transported your kids safely to school and home again! Kara created an amazing Pivot Pop-Up card to show her appreciation! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video!

Kara stenciled the card front with our new Plaid Stencils in Sunflower and Black Licorice ink. They are the perfect colors to complement the cute little Village Heroes school bus! She embossed the Magic Messages sentiment on a circle with a Just Stitching Scalloped Circles design!

The Pivot Pop-Up inside the card shows a cute scene with our Tiny Friends waiting for the bus to take them to school! Kara used the new Slimline Road Border, it’s long enough to span the pop-up piece!

Kara made sure to cut the road at the folds to help the Pivot Pop-Up close flat.

Thank you so much for sharing this adorable thank you card, Kara! I love the cute little scene you created!
