Lawn Fawn Video {10.12.23} Caly’s Interactive Batty for You Card

Hello friends! Today we have inspiration by Caly and it’s so much fun! She shows us how she made her Batty for You design interactive using Waving Pull-Tab Starter Set. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

We hope you are inspired, thanks so much for watching!

In addition to the interactive waving feature, Caly also used the Starry Sky Background Hot Foil Plate for lots of glittery shine! Then she stenciled the background over the foiled stars using Nighttime Sky Stencil. I just love the purple clouds with the hot-foiled stars over the top! So amazing!

To create her cute Batty for You scene, Caly included bats and the friendly spider from Fangtastic Friends! I love how she colored all the bats in shades of purple to coordinate with her background inking!

Caly used these Copic markers:
Bats: V20, V22, V25, V28, R30, R22
Spider: C2, C4, C6
Branches: E70, E71, E&$, E77
Leaves: YG61, YG63, YG67

Thank you for inspiring us today, Caly! Your card is so much fun!

A Trio of Amazing Easter Cards with Grace

It’s almost time for another great week of inspiration with the Lawn Fawn Design Team! April Inspiration starts this Friday with the Big Giveaway post! Then we will highlight the rest of the Spring 2022 Release with intro videos, inspiring projects and of course, more giveaways!

Grace joins today to share more of her amazing creativity! This time she made three super cute Easter cards with a fun twist!

Grace used Outside In Stitched Strawberry and Strawberry Patch die sets to create adorable chicks on three interactive Easter cards!

Pull-Tab card

For this clever pull-tab card, Grace used Outside In Stitched Strawberry to make the chick and the egg. She cut the white “strawberry” with Stitched Mountain Borders to create the cracked eggshell.

Then she used a pull-tab mechanism so the chick pops out of the shell! She attached the cute sentiment to the egg with clear acetate so it moves up too!

Grace got really creative and used lots of the little dies in the Outside In Stitched Strawberry set for the chicks eyes, wings and feet! She found a cute heart in Heart Shaker Gift Tag for the beak!

I love how she splattered the cloudy stenciled background with lots of pastel colors! It looks so pretty!

Grace provided a handy chart for all the pieces to create the little chicks on the next two cards!

Shaker card

For this sweet shaker card, Grace assembled three cute little chicks with speech bubbles and sentiments from Say What? Spring Critters, Say What? Pets and a speech bubble coordinating die from Hay There. I love how she used the negative from cutting out Giant Happy Easter to create a fun shaker feature.

Platform Pop-Up card

Again, Grace assembled 3 little chicks to make this delightful Platform Pop-Up card! She used acetate in the center of the platform to attach one of the chicks and the greeting! I love how she altered Scripty Sweet to be “tweet”! That is so clever!

Thank you so much, Grace for sharing your brilliant projects with us today! I’m so inspired!

Lawn Fawn Video {6.1.21} Chari’s “Funshine Bear” Waving Pull-Tab Card

Hello and happy first day of June! Thanks for joining us today! Chari has a treat for those who remember the “Care Bears”! In her video tutorial she recreates Funshine Bear in a fun interactive Waving Pull-Tab design! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video!

Chari takes us on a fun trip back to the eighties with her rendition of the Care Bears! She used Snow Much Fun as “Funshine Bear”, adding the sun from All the Clouds! To continue the theme, Chari included a Stitched Rainbow!

This fun design is interactive too! Chari used Waving Pull-Tab Starter Set so the bear can wave with the help of the pull-tab! Be sure to watch the video as Chari shows how she modifies the pull-tab to place the bear lower on the design.

To add a bit of glitter to her nostalgic design, Chari included Puffy Cloud Borders in white and Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock along with some dots of Star Dust Stickles! The sentiment from All the Clouds is the perfect greeting! And for a sweet finish, she added hearts from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag.

Thanks for this fun trip back to the 80s, Chari! Your design is so adorable!
