I ♥ Mike!

It’s our 2 year wedding anniversary today! I can’t believe how fast time has flown, or believe that we have been together for almost 10 years!

I am so lucky to have married my soul mate and love of my life! He is seriously the most wonderful man alive :). As you can tell, I love him so! I thought I would post some wedding pictures here on the blog as we spend the day together celebrating. I hope you like them!

100th post!

This is my 100th post! Woah!! How crazy is that? I’m sorry I have been so absent from the blog. I think this is the longest time between posts ever! Boo.

I have been doing alright. I spent all week doing extra work to make up for missing so much the weeks before. I haven’t been in my craft room at all! I did finally clean it today. My husband helped me. It was seriously a disaster! I have been feeling just okay. I am seeing my main doctor tomorrow, and I hope I will get some insight. At least at this point I know it’s not super dangerous, so I am just trying to keep on keeping on. 🙂
I did have the most wonderful pick me up this week though. One of my cards was picked to be “in the spotlight” for a color challenge! I am so excited and honored! I am letter “F” in the grid. Go to the link and check out the other cards. They are amazing!

So since I’m keeping on keeping on, here are some cards! They are two baby cards that I made. I had never made baby cards before, and they are so fun to make! I just might have to make more!

The giraffe is from my cute stamps. Love him! The sentiment is from a muse.
The giraffe was colored in with pencil crayons, and I added a little brad next to the sentiment that matches the giraffe.
I used patterned paper again! Woo! How cute is that pregnant woman stamp from a muse? So adorable!

The blue strip is what was left over after punching out a scallop. I wish I could remember where I got that tip, but it is a great one! Save those little strips that after left after punching out your scallop trim and use them for accents on other cards! So smart of that blogger to think of that!
I can’t wait to start stamping again. I got the biggest ebay score ever on stamps. I am so excited! One of the reasons I am so excited is that I am going to have my first blog candy sometime soon!  I also totally got sucked in by the amazing stamp sets that Papertrey Ink came out with this month, so I am getting a lot of new goodies in! 🙂

Butterfly Birthday

Here is a birthday card that I made with a basic grey stamp set that I am in love with! I did that pearlescent technique with liquid pearls again. I used white embossing powder and even with the embossing buddy, it still wouldn’t all come off. Anyone have any other techniques for getting a clean look with white embossing powder?
