if you can imagine it, you can achieve it

This Donna Downey set is super gorgeous. I got it at Limelight, and they have a great price and amazing customer service! Love them! I used my different coastal inks and dabbed them on the flower image for a blended look. I used my American Crafts Stamp Markers to do the sentiment. They work so well for highlighting certain words in sentiments!
I am so enamored with this ribbon. I had to force my hands to press down on the scissors and cut it. It is seriously beautiful in real life! American Crafts has this whole indie ribbon collection that I really love. Like, I wish that who ever designed this ribbon would make me clothes, because that clothes would rock. 🙂

Have an amazing day,

Walking in a Torendi Wonderland!

This card was made using Torendi Kits! The patterned paper is Jillibean Soup and the girl stamp is Shinzi Katoh which are both from the Modern Red kit. The brown card stock is from the Joy kit. I just love mixing and matching these kits!

I made this card with the Embellish Magazine challenge in mind:

Here is a close up on this cutie pie stamp. It actually originally says I love NY around it, but this time, I just wanted the image of the woman, so I colored her with Copics and cut her out.
I love that this paper looks like falling snow. I even added some snowflakes stamped in Versmark on the dark brown card stock to mimic this feel. This card just makes me sing “walking in a winter wonderland” which is good because I just arrived in Chicago and there is snow all around! I love it. Snow is like pure magic to me. I can’t wait to see those flakes fall soon. I never quite get over the beauty of it.

I hope you enjoyed another look into the Modern Red kit! I cannot wait for the January kit to come out! I am sure Jenn will wow us again! I hope you are all having wonderful holidays!

Have an amazing day,

congratulations you charming bird :)

Hello everyone! The holidays are so near. I can’t believe it. Mike and I braved the stores yesterday to do some last minute Christmas shopping. We considered the trip successful for two reasons. 1. We actually finished our shopping. 2. Our car only got hit by a shopping car once. Haha! 🙂 Anyways, on to the card! I made this card using this charm that I made a while back:I used alcohol inks to create a marbleized background on a Tim Holtz charm. You can read about it on this post here. 🙂
I decided to create a simple background for the charm so that it would stand out, so I stamped this Hero Arts design block in Versamark on kraft (one of my favorite looks). I stamped a quick sentiment in the corner, and then tied 5 colors of twine around the card and through the charm. I love that the colors of the twine pick up the different colors on the charm!

Don’t forget about the awesome Torendi stuff going on here and here! Buy something on sale and possibly come to the CHA trade show! Eeek! It is going to be such a blast!

Also, I wanted to thank Cath over at Moxie Fab World for featuring my card in the Christmas in the Old Country challenge. It was such a fun challenge! If you haven’t checked out Moxie Fab World before, you totally need to! Endless inspiration!
