You are my sunshine, Petite Florals!

Hello! How are you guys doing? Here, the sun is finally shining in SoCal, so that makes me happy! So here is a sunshiney card to celebrate that! This card uses American Craft’s Dear Lizzy and Lawn Fawn’s Petite Florals. I think they make quite a pair! 🙂

So I made this card and then saw that it went perfectly with this week’s CPS challenge! Well, I guess I did the square version!
This is the first time that I used Flair! It was exciting! Of course, all I can think of is “Office Space”. That movie cracks me up. I’ve almost beat up a printer because it said PC Load Letter too. hahaha! Okay, moving on. This card also uses a lot from the Studio Calico “Quilting Bee” kit. My goodness, do I love their kits!

I had such a blast stamping Petite Florals on Dear Lizzy paper. Here I stamped the flowers on the green patterned paper, then stamped them again on the other patterns, cut them out and adhered them over the stamped images. I rolled their petals inward some for depth and also adhered them down in different levels. One with a rolled up glue dot, one with a dimensional, and one with a foam adhesive from Making Memories that is crazy tall. Love those things! Also, how pretty are those Thickers? Ahhh. I could stare at them all day!

Lots of you are receiving your Lawn Fawn sets and making cards! I am so crazy excited about it! Make sure to send me the link to you blog, so I can see your lovely creations and also post it on facebook and twitter! Also, have you seen this feature on our site:

Have an amazing day,

Everything but the Kitchen Sink Challenge #11 and Torendi fun!

Hello! I hope you all had wonderful weekends! I am here with another Everything but the Kitchen Sink sketch challenge! This week our inspiration comes from Kelley, our host! How gorgeous is this?
And here is her fab sketch:This sketch is so versatile and fun! I love it!So I went wacky and made a busy card. This has been happening lately, but I had such a blast making this card, even if it is out of my norm! I am celebrating Mod Podge and Torendi with this card. The deer in the center is Shinzi Katoh fabric from Torendi that I used matte Mod Podge on to attach to card stock and to stiffen, and then I ran it through my Cuttlebug. I then smeared some sparkle Mod Podge on it to match the Sassafras letters. I love that sparkle Mod Podge! The buttons are chipboard that I covered with Mod Podge, layed down paper, and then added another layer of Mod Podge. It worked perfectly and gave a really cool look when sanded. How fun are these letters? I love the juxtaposition of the sparkly Sassafras Nerdy Bird letters with the woodgrain Cosmo Cricket ones. I also put down some FabRips Studio Calico fabric and used my tiny attacher to hold down my ribbon! Seriously love that thing!

This week at EbtKS, I am hosting the prize! We have “Petite Florals” up for grabs!

Have an amazing day,

you make my day brighter!

Hello! I hope you all are having fabulous weekends! My parents are here graciously helping us set up our new house, so there is lots going on! And since we just put up some awesome lamps my Mom just gave us, I thought I would make a “How Delightful” card! I just love this little lamp! To make the lamp shade I stamped a flourish on the back of some American Crafts patterned paper and then stamped the lamp shade in Versamark. I then clear heat embossed to get that shiny look. Cut it out, pop it up on foam adhesive and you’re done! So fun!

Thank you so much for coming by to visit! You guys make my day brighter!

Card stock: Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm)
