This magazine is super fab, you can even purchase it online! A bunch of us were asked to make cards in our go-to-style for the magazine. Mine (in case you didn’t already know, hehe) is fun and cute! Making cards for this publication was so fun! It was like a license to create fun and happy non stop! The other thing that was cool was that we were asked to make specific cards, for example, one of mine was “thinking of you”. It really helped me broaden my go to style by creating for events I might not normally create for.

Fun and cute is my go to style because crafting is my happy place, and, well, I want my happy place to be filled with happy! I also really love puns and making inanimate objects, animate, clearly! Pool floatie and beach ball in love? Sure! Why not?! Fun and cute is a world where all reality can be suspended and imagination takes over. What could be more awesome than that? 🙂

I had so much fun making this card. I love these cute Pebbles and American Crafts papers! I used Lawn Fawn’s Swimsuit Season, Partly Cloudy and Harold’s ABCs sets with Copics for lots of bright fun and a custom silly sentiment. Glossy accents on the punched out heart was the perfect touch. Glossy Accents makes anything look like a custom fancy embellishment! Also, want to make something in the fun and cute style? Add a smiley face. It always does the trick :).

Let’s talk prizes! There is a mega prize pack (it’s crazy awesome!) to be won. How to do it: Make sure to leave comments on all 18 mystery blogs and on the Paper Crafts Connection blog and Moxie Fab World blog. That is a total of 20 chances to win and 3 winners will be chosen! Welcome to another Everything but the Kitchen Sink challenge! We have the most amazing sponsor: Cupcards To Go! YAY! They are giving away a mini kit to our winner.

Our hostess with the mostess is Lynnette this time and she has come up with such a cool sketch based off this beautiful framed verse! I am already to try the sketch again!

I used Cupcards To Go’s July kit, “Jubilee”, to make this card. The kit is so full of fun and happy colors! I stamped the large flower from Judy’s Blooms on to two of the patterned papers from the kit and cut them out and layered them. Then I put this awesome flower from the kit on top of that. I am so in love with the crepe paper that Sonda included in the kit! So much texture!

Make sure to go check out CupCards To Go and play along with us at EbtKS for a chance to win some of these fabulous goodies!

Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Judy’s Blooms, Just My Type, Too)

Have an amazing day,

I love cake. :)

Is it weird that I am too lazy to bake a cake but am totally willing to go *stamp* a cake? Hehe! Here is a Bake Me A Cake card using Torendi’s Paris in Bloom kit. I am so in love with these Sassafras papers and that awesome Sassafras flower!

I went paper piecing crazy! The cool thing is all of these patterns were on one sheet. If you ever get really busy patterned paper and aren’t sure what to do with it, paper piecing smaller images could be a good idea! Also cutting out images for embellishments is fun too! 🙂

The banner stickers from Sassafras are awesome, and I haven’t run out yet! A full size sheet comes in the Paris in Bloom kit! I love that!

I hope you enjoyed baking a funky cake with me! Hehe! Have a great day!
