more joy!

Hello and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I wanted to share the card I made for my hubby. I just had to use the mistletoe from Bows and Holly! Hehe! Critters in the ‘Burbs is one of his favorites so I made sure to include that, too! 🙂
It’s funny. Every card that I made this year for my family had the word “joy” on it. I didn’t intend that at all! So I decided I would make it my word for 2011. To find joy in everything. What a wonderful way to live, right? 🙂

I thought I would share some photos from our Christmas celebration! There was too much food as usual! Mike got me an Instax camera, and I am SO excited about it! Putter joined in the celebration! We took silly matching PJ pics with the timer. I am the timer operator. It’s a work out! haha! We also did A LOT of work on the booth. There is a little picture in there. I’ve gotta tell you stitching felt to a 20 foot canvas is exhausting! It is fun, though!

Well, I am off to go work on the booth some more! CHA is fast approaching!
May your day be filled with joy!

Happy Christmas, Eve! I thought I would share one of the cards that I made for my family. This one is for my brother! I tried to combine cool patterns that are similar to the clothes he wears and his love of inanimate objects with smiley faces! Haha! Cozy Christmas and Bannerific were the perfect fit! I made the fireplace like I did in this video, but I just added Mr. fire man to the card! I actually had cut out this super cute popcorn garland from some Dear Lizzy paper that I forgot to add. I am still so bummed that I forgot it!
I am out in the desert celebrating with my whole family. We do our big Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve, in Cuban tradition, so I better get ready to eat a lot tonight!
I hope you all have a wonderful night! Wishing you lots of joy!

Hahaha! I just had to do it! This is why I love alphabet stamp sets: making my own sayings! Harold’s ABCs adds enough whimsy to this punny sentiment to make it more fun and cute rather than angry and negative. Haha! I made my shag carpeting from baker’s twine, and I have to admit I sort of want baker’s twine rugs now! 🙂 These American Crafts dimensional stickers are perfect for coming up with punny sayings!
I hope I gave you a laugh today!
