Lawn Fawn Sping Inspiration Week Big Giveaway Post!

Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s big Spring release week! We are
doing things like we did the last release here at Lawn Fawn, and we are
still so excited about it! We will be releasing stamps quarterly and
doing “inspiration weeks” monthly! What does this mean exactly? It
means that on March 1st all 10 of Lawn Fawn’s Spring stamps and the new Bright Side collection
will be for sale at your favorite store and lawnfawn.com! Woo! That
means you can get Lawn Fawn goodies whenever and wherever you would like!
Then each month some of the new sets will be featured in the inspiration
week with design team samples, videos and, of course, giveaways!
So, starting tomorrow we will focus on three of these ten sets and Bright Side! Then in March and April we will focus on the last seven sets and, of course, more Bright Side!

This is our big giveaway post too! And, we mean BIG! Make
sure to make it all of the way to the bottom for a chance to win ALL TEN of the Spring release sets, the entire Bright Side collection and ALL THREE of this week’s
inspiration sets!

We usually post some little photo hints, but the sets have already been revealed, so we thought we would post our Bright Side animation video in case you haven’t seen it yet. Check it out!

That music just makes me smile. A big thank you to my friend Greg for composing that for us! And another big thank you to my brother Kyle for helping me edit the video together!

Now we have our big giveaway! We are giving away all ten Spring Release sets to a lucky winner, the entire Bright Side collection to another lucky winner and all three inspiration week sets to another lucky winner!  We will also be giving away a set or Bright Side pack for commenters on the each of the inspiration posts through the week, too!

We want to make sure you have many opportunities to win the big
giveaway, so you have six different types of chances to enter. You can
do one, two, three, four, five or all six! (Remember if you do all
six that means that you have left six different comments here
on the blog!) You are not required to do them all, we just love giving
you guys lots of chances to enter! 🙂

  1. Leave a comment. (easy peasy!)
  2. Like us on Facebook (“liking” always makes me want to quote the Sally Field Oscar acceptance speech! haha!) and leave another comment. (If you are already a “liker”, you can leave a comment)
  3. Ask your crafty friends to “like” Lawn Fawn on facebook and leave another comment!
  4. Follow Lawn Fawn on twitter and tweet about our inspiration week and our site or blog address (for example “Did you see @lawnfawn is having an inspiration week with giveaways? Check it out at http://www.lawnfawn.com or http://lawnfawn.blogspot.com”), and leave another comment. (make sure to @lawnfawn so we can see your tweets!)
  5. Follow this blog through the blogger follower or through Google Reader and leave another comment. (If you already follow, you can leave a comment.)
  6. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and leave another comment. (If you already subscribe, you can leave a comment.)

That gives you six possible entries! You have until February 29th at 10:00pm EDT to enter. We will announce the winners here on the blog on March 1st at 12:01am EDT 🙂

Thank you so much for playing along! We can’t wait to start inspiration posts and videos on the 24th at 12:01am EDT! It’s going to be such a blast!

Big big hugs to all of you!
Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

Hola Kim! + more storage ideas

Hello everyone! Today we have another new member! We are also sharing some more fun storage ideas! Our inspiration week starts tomorrow with our big giveaway post! We can’t wait!

Our last new member is Kim Jackson! We are so thrilled to have her! She is awesome!

My name is Kim Jackson, and I’m a 30-something writer, editor, and papercrafter living in Midvale, Utah. I live in a just-the-right-size townhouse with my boyfriend, Chris. We bought it in 2007, and immediately started remodeling. Yikes! Until recently, I was a senior editor at Creating Keepsakes magazine, and have had scrapbook layouts and other projects published frequently in its pages since 2010. You’ll also find my cards in a few special issues of Paper Crafts magazine. In addition to papercrafting, I love to sew and knit. There’s something so satisfying about working with your hands on something creative–especially if you’re making something for someone else. I feel so lucky to now be a part of the fabulous Lawn Fawn design team!

Today we have some fun storage ideas from Teri and Lynnette!

From Teri: The clear plastic container was just a couple bucks at Ikea. It fits two rows of stamps easily without packaging. I keep my most frequently used stamps in it. This sits on my desk at all times so they are always there when I am ready to stamp a bit.

From Teri: I also put labels on the back of my stamps, saying who the stamps are
from, what the set is, etc. I also sometimes put the date for when they
come out for design team purposes. And, also, sometimes for publishing
purposes so I know when I am working on submissions and need to use a
newer stamp set.

From Lynnette: This is how I store my Lawn
Fawn stamps. I have them in Ziploc baggies to help keep from losing any.
Not super cute but very functional.

A big welcome to all of our new members and a big thank you to our DT for sharing their wonderful storage ideas! What do I do? I have mine in binders, but I don’t love it. I am thinking of switching to the bin method just like the ones above! Do you guys have any awesome stamp storage ideas? We would love to hear them!

Thank you so much for visiting! We can’t wait for inspiration week to start!
Have an amazing day,

Say hello to Linda!

Hello, everyone! Today we have another new design team member to announce and some more fun crafty storage ideas!

We are so thrilled to have Linda Barber on our team. She is amazing, and we are just so lucky to have her!

I’ve been scrapbooking in one way or another since I was kid. Back then, I was cutting stuff out of magazines and glueing them onto a spiral notebook. We are talking pictures of soccer stars (I grew up in Brazil, we like our soccer there) and matinee idols! I started scrapbooking in a more modern way about seven-ish years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I live in Los Angeles with my hubby, my three sons (13, 11, 6, and yes, our house is very active and noisy!), and ginormous amounts of scrapbooking supplies, yarn, and travel books. You can find my scrappy work in Creating Keepsakes’ magazine where I’m a Dream Team member, or on my blog.

You must head on over to her blog! http://milesofpaper.blogspot.com/

Here are some really fun storage ideas from Chari!

Her buttons are on a 24 inch shelf on the wall in little jars and she stuck her stickles to the bottom of her shelf using black self stick velcro.  She stuck one side of the strip to the underside of the shelf and then cut circles out and stuck the other side to the bottom of her stickles bottles.
Her Copics are stored in square pencil cups she found at Target.  Each cup
came divided into four compartments.  She turned them on their side to
sort her Copics by colors.  She eventually made a little wedge shaped piece
out of foam core to put them at a slight angle (so they would stop
falling out when she grabbed one!)
She also has some clear jars she found at
Michael’s that she keeps some things in on the back of her desk.  All her
twine is wound on old wooden spools she bought off Etsy, this works great
to keep them from getting in knots.
Her stamps are in a fabric covered bin from Target. It’s the perfect size for Lawn Fawn stamps, and she have dividers separating them.
Thanks so much, Chari! These are great ideas!
