Hello and welcome to the first post of Lawn Fawn’s Summer release and inspiration week! We are just so excited about this week! We have seven new stamp sets, and they will be revealed on May 31st at 12:01 am EDT and until then we will have fun posts and giveaways and lots of inspiration!
Today is our showcase of “Sunny Skies”. This 4″ x 6″ set is inspired by summer skies filed with kites, clouds and birds. The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a little video on the bottom showcasing some fun ways of using the set including 3 cards from start to finish!

Chari‘s notebook is so sweet! I love the glitter and smiling sun and clouds! The paper pieced hearts are a great touch!
Tiffany‘s layout is so adorable! I love her use of Bright Side and her paper pieced elements. Bannerific works great with the Sunny Skies birds, and the Lawn Trimmings is perfect for the kite tails!
Yainea‘s card is so beatuful! I love the idea of the sun and the moon with this sentiment from Sunny Skies. Check out her blog to see how she made the moon from the sun!
Lynnette‘s cards are so sweet. Her paper paper piecing with Bright side is fantastic! I love her Lawn Trimmings kite tail, too!
Teri‘s card is so fun! I love that she used the kite tail bow as a bow tie for the sun and his blush is so cute! Sophie’s Sentiments works great with these images, too!
Melissa M.‘s layout is wonderful! I love her patchwork created with Bright Side and her use of the sentiment from Sunny Skies as part of her title!
Kim‘s layout is beautiful. I like how she combined the kraft and suns from Bright Side with Aqua card stock, and the Chevron Backdrops look great, too!
Julie‘s card is vintage sweetness. I love how she stamped the You’ve Got Mail sentiment and then added the birds to the banner. I love the vintage look you can get with this set!
Latisha‘s card is so joyful! I love her glittery sun and the sweet gems she placed around the card. The rounded edges are really cool, too!

My Favorite Memories are the time we took our Family to Ocean Shores we rented a House on the Beach and it was so fun the kids flew their Kits and then we went into town so the kids can shop and Ride horses. that was one of the most Special times with our kids when they were little. Time flies so fast then when you dont know it they have grown and are fling the coop to start their own life. so make the most of your life with your Children because it goes to fast. thanks for the chance to win abbraddock@msn.com

These cards are gorgeous! One of my favorite summer memories is spending the summers in San Antonio with my aunt! We would go swimming almost every day and have cook outs all the time!

I was just telling my husband about my summers in Ferndale, a small town in Northern California, with my grandparents. We're planning to drive through this summer on our way to Oregon – I can't wait! And, of course, I love this set and can't wait to get my hands on it!

Oops forgot my favorite summer memory….there are so many, but as a kid I always spent the summers in NM with all of my family from both parents sides and the times spent with all of my cousins is probably the most memorable!!!

My favorite summer memory is when my sister came to visit me and her nieces that I had recently adopted. She never treated them like they were not her nieces and we had been thru that from other family members. Instead she embraced them as a part of her family and made them feel loved be her. Anyways, my favorite summer memory is of 2010. I visited Washington (state) for the first time and fell in love with that state. Soon after that trip I got to visit my brother in Michigan and my male best friend rode with me. We had some awesome bonding time together before he moved to Puerto Rico. That's a summer I'll never forget! ♥
LOve the set….I have a great summer memory of Hiking in Yellowstone Natl park on July 1st, as we reached the summit of Observation Peak..the light sprinkle of rain turned to a blizzard of snow…Such fun pictures of snow in July!

My favorite memory of summer was last year when my hb & I went for a 2 weeks road trip. We went Lake Tahoe and it was just gorgeous followed by San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon.

I love these sweet images and the great sentiments in this set!! When my daughter was younger, we took trips to small lake for picnics and swimming. We went late in the day when there were few people and it was a very peaceful place.

The idea of having the smiley separately is good idea as sometimes I do not feel like having the smiley. I think you should consider having smiley separately in the future sets.
Malaysia is all year summer but in some of the months, the temperatures will rise so high that you need to bath few times in a day! My daughter loves it a lot as she can play water few times in a day!

I have so many favorite summer memories, but I really have to share my *newest* favorite summer memory – which was YESTERDAY! I am training for my very first Triathlon, which will be at the end of June. And, yesterday was our FIRST open water swim in the lake where the competition will be. (We have been practicing at the local pool until now.) It was amazing – all of us got suited up into our wetsuits, and we got into the very cold water, and swam early in the morning, shortly after the sun came up. It was amazing and wonderful, and not as scary as I thought it would be! I LOVE this new set – and can't wait to make sunny cards with it 🙂
my favourite memory was the year our first son was born. he was around 6 months old in the summer and he looked so cute in his little summer clothes and just at the right age where i couldn't blink and see him head to foot in mess and sticky stuff. pushing him around in his pushchair i was so proud of him sitting there wiggling his cute toes. 11 years on he's stuck in his bedroom with his head in his computer on one of the hottest days of the year. happy memories.

Great work by the DT! My favorite Summer memory has to be doing projects on our home with my Papa. Every Summer we would scrape the entire house, both stories and the porch, and give it a fresh coat of paint. I loved working side by side with him, we'd talk on and on for hours. Any great find at a yard sale or second hand store is my favourite ^-^ Or my wedding last year. Or the day got to spend all by myself (no kids, no family, no nothing just me, my bathing suit and a great book) by the ocean after the wedding to recover from all the work arranging it 😀

We had a huge band and all my friends were in it, couldn't ask for better people to spend the summer with. I'm 30 now and still very close with my friends from band.

it's hard to pick one! I love sitting in the garden on my sunlounger, listening to the children playing, a book to hand and a wonderful hubby bringing me pimms and lemonade with lots of strawberries in. It's been sunny today and this is how I enjoyed myself.

My favorite summer has to be when I visited North Carolina back in 2008. It was my first time visiting the south (I live in NYC) and I fell in love with the state. Thanks for the chance to win.

What a great looking set! I have so many great summer memories. Summer is just a wonderful time of year! I think I would have to say the year I had a slumber party outside and we all slept on the trampoline.. We were surprised to find out, that night was an AWESOME meteor shower…Havent seen another on like it since then..

My favorite summer memory is when my parents were both still with us, we would (the whole family) meet at their lake house on the July 4th weekend and eat,swim, pontoon rides and paddle boat and have fires every night with S'mores…it was the time of my life and my children talk about it every summer too! I love the projects. My favourite summer memory is sitting on top of a fountain at a lido in North Wales – the warm sunshine & the cold water – great. This is something you can't do nowadays because of health & safety restrictions – such a pity.

My favorite summers have been the ones where we've gone camping with friends.
My favorite summer memories would be down at the river me my brother and my cousins would each have a different flavor pop and we would drink 3/4 of the pop and fill the rest up with river water and then we would each have our own color pop bottle and there was this calm part of the river with a dip in it we all would threw the bottles into it and the first one who came up with their pop bottle won….lol that was so much fun 😉

My Favorite Memories are the time we took our Family to Ocean Shores we rented a House on the Beach and it was so fun the kids flew their Kits and then we went into town so the kids can shop and Ride horses.

My favorite summer memory is when my sister came to visit me and her nieces that I had recently adopted. She never treated them like they were not her nieces and we had been thru that from other family members. Instead she embraced them as a part of her family and made them feel loved be her. Anyways, my favorite summer memory is of 2010. I visited Washington (state) for the first time and fell in love with that state. Soon after that trip I got to visit my brother in Michigan and my male best friend rode with me. We had some awesome bonding time together before he moved to Puerto Rico. That's a summer I'll never forget! ♥

Hmm,this isn't exactly one specific moment but the summer I was 18 I took off – no working – and just tanned and relaxed! I knew I had a lifetime of working ahead. It ws awesome and I have no regrets!

great sentiments in this set!! When my daughter was younger, we took trips to small lake for picnics and swimming. We went late in the day when there were few people and it was a very peaceful place.
I was really inspired when I watched Kelly Marie's video making three cards with the adorable clouds, sun and kites. It brought back memories of our sons flying kites on breezy summer days.

The idea of having the smiley separately is good idea as sometimes I do not feel like having the smiley. I think you should consider having smiley separately in the future sets.
Malaysia is all year summer but in some of the months, the temperatures will rise so high that you need to bath few times in a day! My daughter loves it a lot as she can play water few times in a day!

I have so many favorite summer memories, but I really have to share my *newest* favorite summer memory – which was YESTERDAY! I am training for my very first Triathlon, which will be at the end of June. And, yesterday was our FIRST open water swim in the lake where the competition will be. (We have been practicing at the local pool until now.) It was amazing – all of us got suited up into our wetsuits, and we got into the very cold water, and swam early in the morning, shortly after the sun came up. It was amazing and wonderful, and not as scary as I thought it would be! I LOVE this new set – and can't wait to make sunny cards with it 🙂
my favourite memory was the year our first son was born. he was around 6 months old in the summer and he looked so cute in his little summer clothes and just at the right age where i couldn't blink and see him head to foot in mess and sticky stuff.
pushing him around in his pushchair i was so proud of him sitting there wiggling his cute toes.
11 years on he's stuck in his bedroom with his head in his computer on one of the hottest days of the year.

Great work by the DT! My favorite Summer memory has to be doing projects on our home with my Papa. Every Summer we would scrape the entire house, both stories and the porch, and give it a fresh coat of paint. I loved working side by side with him, we'd talk on and on for hours. I loved every hot sweaty moment with him.

it's hard to pick one! I love sitting in the garden on my sunlounger, listening to the children playing, a book to hand and a wonderful hubby bringing me pimms and lemonade with lots of strawberries in. It's been sunny today and this is how I enjoyed myself.

My favorite summer memory is the annual 4th of July picnic with my grandparents an all the aunts, uncles and cousins. We were at the park early where my grandmother made breakfast on the park grill. We stayed through lunch and dinner. Lots of games: baseball, badminton, tag, card games,etc.So much fun. I would love to go back if only for a day.

My favorite summers have been the ones where we've gone camping with friends.
My favorite summer memories would be down at the river me my brother and my cousins would each have a different flavor pop and we would drink 3/4 of the pop and fill the rest up with river water and then we would each have our own color pop bottle and there was this calm part of the river with a dip in it we all would threw the bottles into it and the first one who came up with their pop bottle won….lol that was so much fun 😉

Great stamps! I think my favorite childhood summer memory is all the fun we always had in our neighbor's backyard pool. It was the neighborhood gathering place and we had endless hours of fun! My favorite all time summer memory has to be swinging on the backyard swingset with my son! Again, endless hours of singing and playing games and even star gazing! Thanks for reminding me!
My fave summer memory would be going for family bike rides as a kid. An activity I hope to start now with my own kids! 🙂

My favorite summer memory is having Nerf Gun and Super Soaker fights with my cousins when we were kids. More recently, my friends and I (all college-aged) started having Nerf Gun fights, and it's a great form of exercise. You never really outgrow summer fun. 🙂

My favorite summer memory is of the swing in my childhood backyard. It was hung from a tree branch that must have been at least 30 feet up, so you could swing really high!
