  49. I can't say that getting up and seeing snow on the ground made my happy. I guess I'm happy because I didn't have to get out in it. I cancelled the eye doctor appointment and now I'm going to stay in and make greeting cards.

  55. What made me happy today was being allowed the opportunity to leave work early before the impending 6-10 inches of snow settles upon our state…and coming home to bake some bread. There's nothing like the taste/smell of freshly baked bread! Oh and to have some time to make more cards!! Can't forget that!! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

What made me happy today is that my cousin had a healthy delivery and gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Irelyn Jade McConnell, weighing in at 6lbs, 5ozs & 19.5 inches long. She was born this morning, January 21st at 8:36am! Both mommy and baby are doing perfect! That makes me extremely happy!

  77. I haven't tried stenciling, but it sounds like fun! A lot things have made me happy today. I woke up next to my kitty cat who had a long visit at the vet yesterday, my boyfriend looked back at me a few times as he left the house for work (love that!), and I am heading to my favorite yoga class in just a few minutes. :o)

  78. Winning a spot would definitely make me happy. But what made me happy today was a Pinterest post I found on roasting garbanzo beans. I happen to have a can and I added my own ingredients. It was delicious! My husband then called me telling me he was at the grocery store and I told him to buy more garbanzo beans!

  90. Woke up to a sunny but cold and blustery day and had coffee with my sweet hubby. We ate the great breakfast he made; then he agreed to swap dental appointments with me because I didn't feel like going. Add these things to his many, many other great attributes and I could never wish for a better husband. 🙂

  122. Home from work and catching up on my reading while it is -22C with a windchill of -39C outside. Not what that is in F, but it's below 0 F. We have a frostbite warning – skin will freeze in a few minutes out there. 😉

  152. Today I read an article that inspired me, and finding inspirational things make me happy. The article was about slowing down and noticing the small things because when you don't you may be missing some of the best things ever!

  157. To be honest, today is not a happy one, received some bad news. However, reading your blog always makes me happy and will do some craft tonight, am sure that will make me happier!!

  165. What made me happy today? Well, the windchill was -15 here in Michigan and I work at a school. We still had school and bussing was VERY cold, but when we were done we got to go into our classroom that was nice and warm. Just having heat made me happy!!!   177. Our kids are still on school holidays in Australia. Yesterday my daughter and I made cookies and they were great. It made me happy that they also tasted great (doesn't always happen when my daughter gets into the kitchen).

  195. today I am happy because I got to put my dog in her sweater and take her for a nice long walk without my arm brace…having a broken elbow is the pits…slow healing…small steps to getting back to normal!!!
