Year Six is so perfect for making cards with a lot of whimsy! And what’s more whimsical than cute googly-eyed shellfish? Chari added some great details to this card with a Scalloped Rectangle and a fun party hat from Hats Off to You!

Yainea‘s Donut Worry card just makes me smile, really big! I love the pretty Woodgrain Backdrops stamped in Peacock ink on Mermaid cardstock and the adorable “plate” made with a Scalloped Circle die cut!

Anyone would love to receive a little birthday gift packaged up like this! I love how Nicole colored the little shellfish in shades of peach and attached it to a Tag, You’re It tag, tied simply with Aquamarine Lawn Trimmings! Just so sweet!

I love that Nichol combined Donut Worry with Baked with Love! The smiling pastry bag looks adorable with the frosted donuts! She added some lovely details with Stitched Borders and Stitched Scalloped Borders die cut from vellum; so clever!

The pretty blue and green color combo on Lynnette‘s sweet Year Six card comes from the pretty Perfectly Plaid Ivy paper!

Elena‘s Donut Worry card is just hilarious! I love the adorable hand-drawn arms and legs on the donut and Love You a Latte coffee mug! The Stripey Backdrop adds another layer and lots of interest to the background!

Latisha “staged” her underwater scene with cute images from Life is Good! I love how she coordinated the color of the cute shellfish with Peacock cardstock, Daniella Perfectly Plaid paper and Aquamarine Lawn Trimmings, so pretty!

Year Six pairs perfectly with So Jelly on Yainea‘s super cute shaker card! Happy Birthday Border looks awesome die cut from white cardstock with a Fake Tan Sentiment Banner. The shaker bits are  Little Things by Lucy’s Cards which are now available in our online store, yay!

Chari‘s Donut Worry design is so adorable! I love the texture and detail she added to the Nadia paper using Stitched Borders!

I love how Jess created a super cool watercolor background for her cute Year Six design!

How cute is Kristin‘s little shellfish with the large Party Balloon? I love how the Ice Blue Bokeh paper looks like bubbles in the ocean, so clever!

Nicole‘s simply sweet Donut Worry design is perfect for making multiples! I love how she used all the different patterns from Perfectly Plaid!

Nichol combined Year Six with Fintastic Friends and Life is Good to create this adorable underwater scene! I love how the Black Licorice Stitched Circle Frame makes the colorful scene pop!

  1. Amazing cards ladies!! So inspirational!
I'm hoping these video's will be coming.. Because they are always so informative and fun! And also because I am still waiting for Oh Snap and Ready Set Shake from previous inspiration weeks..

  2. Love Year Six! I think it is by far my fave "year", and I love them all! All of the cards are so cute… I don't know how you ladies keep making them better and better! My favorite doughnut is a plain cake doughnut FRESH out of the fryer, made by a local bakery down the street from where I grew up. No other doughnut has ever been as good.

  3. Wow, inspiration week is off to a brilliant start, some really inspirational designs there! I particularly love the addition of googly eyes to the shellfish – I wonder which of my other "critters" could be used in the same way? I think I'm going to have to pin some of these designs so I can refer back to them, thanks ladies!

  5. I think I have a favorite donut tie between chocolate and maple glazed. So now the question is- do I stamp donuts or go buy some… 😉

  6. I love the donut stamp set and the Perfectly Plaid papers are so gorgeous. I'm boring, my favorite donut would be glazed raised I think but I don't eat them often.

  7. Love all of these adorable new goodies and the fabulous sample projects!! My favorite kind of donuts are old fashioned chocolate cake donuts (from Dunkin Donuts). Hope you feel better soon, Kelly!!

  8. Love these sets and LOVE all the DT's creations!!! ♥

My favorite donut is glazed…though a good chocolate with chocolate icing is pretty darn tasty too 😀

  9. These cards are super cute!! My favorite donut is the apple spice donut from DD. It is dusted with cinnamon sugar and has apple filling in the middle. Yummmm 🙂

  10. In the days I was able to eat donuts my favorite was chocolate honey glazed. Today I need to play it safe with Lawn Fawn's donuts stamps. 🙂

  11. Hmmm…does an apple fritter count? If not, then a regular Krispy Kreme doughnut or anything with chocolate and coconut shavings on top!

  12. Ack!!! Love ALL these cards! You are all so TALENTED!! And Chari's with the stitching all over the card is brilliant – love it! OK, my favorite go-to donut is always a good 'ole fashioned simple glazed donut!

  13. My favorite kind of donut is actually just a plain one, but one that is fresh, and crispy from being fried on the outside. We have a place here in town that has this down to perfection! 🙂

  14. I love raised donuts instead of the cake kind. Things like crullers and the ones they use for Boston Cream Donuts. Yum! How cute is the sweet clam stamp set!

  15. Wow! So many darling ideas! Loving both these mini sets! My favorite donuts are basic glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme or Voodoo Donuts (Voodoo's are heavenly–Oversized and nice and fluffy).

  16. What fun cards! Love them all. Now which doughnut is my favorite? Well the one in front of me of course! Coffee and a doughnut does it get better? But I do admit, I'm not fond of maple bars…just don't do it for me…Happy Saturday!

  17. I love glaze donuts! We went to Krispy Kreme once and watched them come off the conveyor belt. That was awesome and became our favorite donuts for the rest of our trip. I love the beautiful creations shown today. Googly eyes on shellfish! So awesome!!!!

  19. Hope you are feeling better now, or soon anyway. These cards are awesome, I have the year six set and can't wait to try out some of these ideas.

  20. My favourite donut is a Tim Horton's vanilla cream! Funny that Tim Horton's is a Canadian company and they do not make that flavour in Canada. I have to get it when we travel to the U.S.–lol Fabulous new sets, I love everything in this release!

  21. This blog post is loaded with inspiration. These cards are absolutely adorable! Boston cream donuts with lots of custard filling are my favorite. I would love one right now!

  22. The DT did a magnificent job on all their projects! So many adorable and fun cards! I love the little smiley faces on some of the donuts! A still hot, glazed donut is my favorite.

  23. My favorite doughnuts are buttermilk old fashioned. But I never met a doughnut I didn't like. Seriously, at my wedding we had a doughnut tower instead of a cake. Mmmmmm.

  24. All the cards shared in this post are beautiful, so nice and colorful. My favorite donut is a chocolate frosted with sprinkles! Yummy!

  25. These are so fantastic! The shellfish is completely adorable. And I can't get over how much I love all the plaid patterned papers, they are so versatile! Thanks for sharing these!

  26. The donut worry set cracks me up. Great inspiration cards. My favorite donut was a Boston crème. Yum! Being gluten free means I haven't had one in a long time, but it was fun to remember how delicious they were.

  27. Fantastic projects!! My favorite kind of donut is a cinnamon sugar twist yeast donut that I can only get while we are on vacation (which is probably a good thing)! 🙂

  32. My favourite donut is sour cream glazed. These cards and projects are too cute! I love all of the beautiful colours!!

  37. That 'be a little sheelfish' sentiment is my fav!!
    – but that's not my fav donut!! lol!
My fav donuts are French Crullers, which I've always called Tractor Tires! : )

  38. Thanks for all of the wonderful inspiration cards! I have the Donut Worry, and it's great to see such cute ideas!
My favorite donuts are apple fritter and French crueler. And anything with maple.

  39. These cards are so cute! My favorite kind of donut – that's a tricky question. Usually, it just a raised glazed donut – but there are some pretty tempting seasonal donuts at Krispy Kreme that can win me over – especially their salted caramel donut – yum! Thankfully, I live an hour and a half away from the closest Krispy Kreme!
