Happy Monday! Jessica joins us today to share a gorgeous card featuring Layered Butterflies and Fancy Lattice Backdrop!
Jessica thank you card starts with a fun technique in the background. She used Distress inks to create a cool and colorful watercolor panel which she embossed with the Fancy Lattice Backdrop. She used an embossing mat to leave the pattern of the lattice without cutting through the cardstock!
For the greeting, Jessica stamped the sentiment from Wavy Sayings on a Fancy Wavy Banner!
The Layered Butterflies are cut from Blue Jay cardstock and the bodies and small butterflies are cut from Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock. I love how Jessica used the Ocean Sparkle cord to add texture and detail behind the butterflies!

I love this technique of using a die to create an embossed effect, especially on watercolor paper. Jessica’s watercolor background and color palette are beautiful and the butterflies look like they are flying! Well done!
