Happy Trails! Joyce’s Adorable Camping Scene!

Joyce is with us today to share some fun inspiration! Her adorable camping scene features cutes bears and Build-A-Campsite! She found fun ways to combine images from sets in her stash to build a fun scene!

Starting with a slimline cardbase, Joyce has plenty of room to create a complete vignette! The Happy Trails camper in the background helps to set the scene in a campground, adding fun atmosphere!

She filled the “campsite” with bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun! And then she added cute details like the campfire from Love You S’more, a “fire ring” of rocks from Ocean Shell-fie and the blanket from Crazy Antics. Joyce added a moon from All the Clouds in the night sky that she inked up using Broken China and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks.

The sleeping bear looks so content inside the tent! And the plaid tent flap adds cozy detail too!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.24.21} Christy’s Big Top Birthday Card

Christy shares a super cute and clever birthday card idea today! Inspired by the Build-A-Campsite tent, she had the idea to create a circus big-top! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

After Copic-coloring the red-striped circus tent, Christy gathered cuteness from Elphie Selfie, Bicycle Built for You and Grrr-fic Friend to create the circus scene! (You could substitute the lion from Wild for You.) She cleverly transformed the dog bowl from Critters at the Dog Park into a stand for the lion!

Christy created the look of trees and shrubs in the background using Puffy Cloud Borders. She did some stenciling with Cloudy Stencil to complete the happy scene!

Mayra’s Amazing Tropical Shutter Card

Today we have Mayra with us to share her amazing tropical scene in a shutter card! The size of the Shutter Card (without the shutter) gave Mayra plenty of room to go “wild” with her jungle scene!

Mayra created a brilliant Shutter Card with a sweet message for someone special! She made a full front cover, decorating the belly band with our Hang in There sloth and Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On.

On the inside of the Shutter Card, Mayra assembled a super fun and detailed jungle scene using Toucan Do It and Critters in the Jungle. She turned the Rub-A-Dub-Dub tub into a boat for the Bicycle Built for You couple. They are adventuring with an Ahoy Matey map and the telescope from Super Star! Mayra found the cute hats in the Dad + Me set.

To create a fun sentiment, Mayra combined Magic Messages with a couple of the sentiments from Toucan Do It.

For the background scenery, Mayra combined lots of tropical elements including Slimline Tropical Leaves Border and Tropical Leaves Backdrop. She also used Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders, Slimline Grassy Borders and Ocean Wave Borders.
