It’s the start of a new week, so we have some super fresh and fun inspiration for you! Ivy has a friend who recently turned the big 5-0 so she made a punny birthday card to celebrate!
To create this large fold out card, Ivy started with 2 card bases! She did some inky magic on the background in shades of green to complement her design!
In order to reinforce the theme of her punny greeting “50 Succs”, Ivy colored 10 of the succulent borders from Simply Celebrate Summer!
Ivy used Louie’s 123s and Finley’s ABCs cut from both Black Licorice and Sparkle Spring cardstock. She layered them to create the irreverent but fun greeting!

I always love Ivy’s designs but this one is over-the-top fantastic!! It’s like the ones I make with an 8-carrot bunch and use it to make “24-carrot” (carat) birthday/anniversary/etc. This is such a clever pun and gives me a terrific excuse (read: reason) to buy the succulents set! Your cacti are beautiful and I love the lettering! SO FAB!!
